I’ve had a pretty quiet day today,, did some washing, cleaning and I had a few thoughts!
Now if your not aware, someone has decided to donate some money for my new start in my new flat! (Which is rented if anyone thinks I’m buying it!)

I’m truly grateful for the generosity and help of them all,,, I have decided to spend some of the money on the flat, I do/ will need all the furniture etc and I also would like to do some bits on Helga,,now here is the question I’m going to ask,, The work I would like to do is as follows,,, 2 new taps ( kitchen and bathroom) Centre lounge wind up vent mechanism,,, a fuse for my kitchen fiamma fan,,,( light comes on, but fan stopped rotating) and possibly a kitchen window, which has crazed on the outside plastic pane!

now,, is there anybody who’s within a decent radius of me, who has any workshop facilities, or who would be willing to help me with these niggles? I of course would either pay them for their help, if reqd or return the favour in another way!

and I’m in Norfolk!

Good morning,,, well it is if your aquaman!!!

been raining most of the night, and it’s not letting up! What a good job I’m an out of work, lazy, Netflix watching, tea drinking, roll up smoking, woman ogling, no haired, few teeth, forum reading bricklayer!! Otherwise I’d have to work in it !!

the field I’m on hasn’t dried out for weeks, and keeps getting worse! It doesn’t help that lots of people like driving about on it! I swear jaq cousto swam past my window earlier!!

well, that’s me today,,, tea, internet, tv, not much else,,, I shall survive,,,

Ian, I thought you had given up the fags.
I wish that we were ready for building double garage and changing flat roof to pitched on bungalow that I told you about (near Wisbech), as this would have kept you busy for a few weeks. Anne and I spend a couple of days a week working there, mainly been demolition (old sheds and internal walls), stripping out, and removal of trees etc so far. Just finished removing 20 conifer stumps and other large bushes. Going today to block up archway.

well I’ve unloaded all reqd tools at conals place, in readiness for a bit of work on Monday,, I shall pick up materials over the weekend,, plasterboard, plaster etc,,

got a few jobs to do at the house, which of some are outside, so I bloody hope the weather dries up a bit,, fed up with this rain!

still haven’t heard from housing association re flat,, but I’m expectant,, hopefully they will be in touch next week !

I’ve been looking online for a bit of furniture for my new place, and since it’s been a good few years that I have bought, needed any furniture, I’m pleasantly surprised at the costing and price of some,, I can get a new bed for a couple of hundred, and I think about 400 for a decent sofa bed ( I have no where else if people want to stay)

I have a tv here in Helga,, also my Motorhome WiFi will work as well, I’m sure! ( till contract runs out)

I have basic kitchen equipment, but I’m looking forward getting new stuff, nice plates etc,, it will be smashing to have a bit more space! Helga has been brilliant, and still is, but a whole bathroom with a porcelain toilet and a bath will be a dream! Lol. Funny how little things can mean so much!! Lolol.

so, the weekend to organise, get a bit more washing done, pick up materials and working from Monday! this year can’t end quick enough for me!!

just a note about the donation page,,, I’m blown away by your generosity and help!
I will thank each and everyone of those who donated over time,, even the anonymous donors, and the donor that started it off with that amazing offer of £500,,,I may have no money but, I have a particular set of skills, skills that have served me well over my life,, so rest assured that, I will look for you,,,, I will find you,,,, and I will treat you to a cuppa!!
And on the off chance of any of you passing blofield, needing anything, including a hot bath, brew, bed, laugh you would all be welcome! And those who didn’t want to contribute, you would still be welcome , but don’t expect Yorkshire t bags!! Lololol.

Good morning,,,, well if your a polar bear!!

I’ve been up since 5 ish,, and only now have I looked outside! I’ve seen 2 dog sleds, 3 snow mobiles and a group of people are setting up a arctic laboratory! It must be 75 below outside now! I’ve just seen a car try to drive over the grass and the grass has punctured all his wheels!

I won’t be doing much today,, but at least for a bit of exercise I can skate on the puddles!

Good newson the flat well done, Shame about helga but that's a bargain ian and worth much more. When you're ready to sell get it on facebook hymermarket its worth at least 15- 16 grand going by the ones selling on there

No sense giving it away you can use the money ?

no mate definitely not,, I’ve been offered an older sprinter from someone, that doesn’t look like it’s been dropped into a war zone by helicopter for a few grand, and I’m going ( with help on here) to convert for myself!

what I need in that Paul is not as much as Helgas got,, won’t need solar,, I’m always plugged in really! Don’t need satellite dish,
Won’t need shower etc, don’t need air con unit! Just a basic warm van for moving about if I work away or for the odd trip etc!

No tam,, im not going to give it away,, but this is my thinking,,,, If I spend the money to do the small bits it needs, taps fridge, etc, then I shall put it up for around £13,500/14000 prob on eBay! But

if I advertise it on here,or Ebay, without doing the bits, which someone else may want to do? I will be looking for offers around £11,000.

I think tam that after four years of travelling and living in her I’ve had my monies worth,, I don’t want to just put her in storage,, and I think she would be a bargain for someone who’s maybe new to Motorhoming or wants to do a bit of work to her, hence increasing her value,, Cause at that money if they look after her, use her in five years she will not loose them anything either!

if I didn’t need the money tam, I would keep her, but I do, so I will let her go !! But I will shed a tear! Xxx.

I reckon you would get £15k in less than 24 hours advertising it on hymermarket as it is now.
If you're not on facebook let know when you want to advertise it and I'll put it on for you

that would mean tam that I’d have to do the bits mate, and I’ve got no tools or facilities for it, or the money to pay someone to do it!

but I wouldput it on there if the buyer would do it for-slightly less money tam,, it wouldn’t hurt to put it on as many places aa possible,,, more chance of selling her. !! Cheers I will be in touch when I get keys to flat! Xx. And the price of£11,000 Ono would only apply to funsters!
