You must be very excited.
Shame about having to sell the faithful Helga but things and life move on. If you get your mates van later you will still be able to get about once you’ve done a bit of work on it.
If it’s any use to you we have a 32” Sony TV sitting unused in our spare bedroom. Kate’s been nagging me to get it out of her way for ages. Might be good for your new home and it’s yours if you want it.

Now you’re going to be ‘static’ for a while don’t you dare leave Fun. The NMC would never allow it.

Brilliant news Ian, dont forget about the likes of Freecycle for any stuff you need for your flat. Sad you will need to sell Helga but converting your own van is a great plan.

Pleased for you Ian. It’s nice to imagine you warm and cosy in a new flat as winter falls upon us. Water and power and waste coming in and going out with the turn of a tap, a pull of the plug or the press of a flush!

Great news mate, delighted for you, -but - (there’s always one, )
Why sell helga ? She’s proven herself - ready to roll to be replaced by a van that going to give you a load of work before you get it up to Helgas standards .Shes a hymer you can’t beat them, if I had the money I’d bite your hand off but then I’d be contradicting myself !!

I too was wondering if there was any urgent need to sell Helga... have you given up your wandering for good.
Yes obviously great to have a permanent base but jobs could take you anywhere...
...then there's holidays, cheaper with Helga across the Channel surely.
Why not store her for a few months until spring,
