Hi Ian,

With travelling over the past fortnight, I've missed out on the last twenty pages, but have caught up now. ;)

Great summing up on page 205. It's been a pleasure being part of it all, and it's been great to join you on your adventure. Hopefully (if not before) we'll meet when down in Spain next winter.

Take care, and good luck with work. (y)

All the best for now,

Jock. :)

See Ian's new thread - Ian and Helga...on the job

Birdwatching at its best ;)

I used to keep the blue variety. My peacock was fond of both his mate and a stray house brick - he'd display to either. If you sneak up behind a peacock when he's displaying & touch the exposed parsons nose those feathers come down so fast it's like being in a collapsed tent. They're really fun birds to keep. :)

Ian and hegla on the job, can't wait to see the avatar:)

Ian, I didn't start reading this thread until someone told me about it. It has now taken me a week to go from start to finish - read so much yesterday that the battery on my I Pad was critical by bedtime!

You have had me in tears with your antics, and your humour has been a breath of fresh air, thanks so much.
I know many have suggested a book but I think a TV series would be a hoot.
The only other thing I would say besides thank you is - I think you should get a cleaning job rather than building as you seem to be constantly giving Helga a going over.
Good luck and I can't wait until you are back travelling again and keeping us all entertained with your antics.

except it would have to be after the watershed, what with exotic dancers and black&blue balls

I hope your all not too bored with the other thread we have started, about being home and working? Xxxxxx
