I Love My E & P Jacks

I agree Andy and in the unlikely event that happens I will take a look at the instruction book and lower the ramps manually - I was shown how to do it at handover, but was advised that the likelihood of having to use the manual facility was remote.

I was shown quickly at hand over, but now feel a need to at least see where it is, but I know I definitely don't carry a socket to fit, don't carry tools like that, but also reckon the RAC will (y)

something else to check along with my towing eye, must make sure I have one of those as well and that it fits :)

It's a Alan key David - which they provided with the instructions

Even jacks needed assistance here!

Thanks Martin
I believe it should be 450 long 250 high and I think it said 150 wide.
Hi Andy

Think you are right, we popped to see Mick on the stand at Peterborough and 450 mm would be standard, don't know if ours has the larger tank but you wouldn't need it.

The evil and expensive deal has been done and deposit paid. :)

Took the van over to Full Circle Enterprises at Banham in Norfolk for them to have a look and plan where the E & P kit can be fitted. After some measuring and discussion it's going to be fitted in the front locker in the same place as @Robert Clark has his.
They have to fabricate a mounting plate to go over the bolts holding the seat belt frame but everything else looks straightforward.
Just waiting for them to get the kit delivered and then a fitting date in around two weeks if all goes well.

Richard.

You need to find a friendly fireman as they have stuff like that for jacking on.

Anyone got these? or something better

not needed or bothered with anything as yet, including Chester this year, my hope is that if E + P thought they needed to have bigger feet they would fit them (y) got away with that so far

That said they might come in handy for an extraction a la @funflair seems to feature in :)

I was thinking more for protecting the foot than the ground

I bought these, they give me the option of shortening the jack stroke for more stability, they lock together to stop slipping.

I also got some 25mm thick polyurethane cut to 300mm squares and had a channel routed to fit the above blocks. I use the home made jobs for jack protection and also to offer additional jack height with the above blocks. See earlier picture in post.

Gravel stones rocks

I would think you might have a serious chance that the plastic blocks could break in half if you pressed down on top of a stone

get Jacs out to hoover the ground first :)

and that just got me thinking, what happened to doing it all from inside? these will slow you down

No Jacs will be siting the jack pads lol
No they won't break , the material is almost indestructible

I have a drive that covers double garage but its very short. The incline is about 300mm over about 2500mm. I sometimes park outside across it while packing etc. It would be nice to level it up but I reckon this might be beyond or near the end of the stroke. Anyone with experience of these opinions is welcome. Would be another plus point for me. Cheers.

seriously the position of the jacks on mine are quite a long way under, it will take a good guess x 4 to get them all in the right place

I would try it first, I reckon the feet are as, if not more, indestructible than the extra pads (y)

Have you got a UK seller?
