I think the worst part of the journey is the next few hours from when you hit the M1 till you get through that hole in the ground.D DAY............

Imo waiting until September is not looking like a good strategy suavecarve and others. If our lot can't get the delta variant of the China virus under control there has to be a risk of existing doors closing. We’re not envious................of the drive to the tunnel.
As for the rest of the trip, envious as hell as we have to wait until September.
Have a great time and please update often .
Haha, you must be mistaking me for someone else if you think I have a ‘strategy ‘.Imo waiting until September is not looking like a good strategy suavecarve and others. If our lot can't get the delta variant of the China virus under control there has to be a risk of existing doors closing.
Love a poke……We did think about smuggling some bacon and sausage , but decided against it, as we like the food in france, and that there are so many unknowns at the moment, i didn't want to "poke a hornets nest" for no reason.
But i will post as to whether they check or not and how thoroughly, for all the smugglers
not wishing to change this into a CV thread but, much less concerned now about September than I was about a month ago. Happy to discuss elsewhere.Imo waiting until September is not looking like a good strategy suavecarve and others. If our lot can't get the delta variant of the China virus under control there has to be a risk of existing doors closing.

Forgot passports for our COVID tests, so back to base collected them and now waiting at boots to get in

Good gracious, does returning 'back to base' mean another 212 miles each way?First update, and first foul up of the day
