I assumed the Q was about the Adriatic crossing, as you are already in Europe

DFDS Dover - Dunkerque return.
The Corinth canal is closed at the moment as there was a rock fall last year. It will allegedly be reopening in early July but anyone with any experience of Greece is not holding their breathOur friends used to keep their boat in Prev for the winter.
Nydri for the summer.
They’re in Evia now as they have kept it there for the last 3 years.
Lovely Moody 38 but now it’s up for sale.
Are you going through the canal and back round ?

Just back from visiting Milan and pictures will be posted shortly as I'm in the middle of washing my shreddies and socks, there minging and Mena has given me some stick. Anyway, good news, fuel in Italy is cheaper than France, Germany and Luxemburg. We're seeing around 1.80 on average and no doubt lower if hunted down. The ring road around Milan is an adventure by the way.
We have an annual contract for our 44’ yacht which costs between €2-3000. I’m unsure because the last payment was less than we expected and without looking at the paperwork (which isn’t to hand) I don’t know exactly.Of course there are two of you. Not having to anti-foul the hull saves a lot of time.
How far do you have to go to pay the 'in-the-water' tax, assuming you stop paying when out of the water. Or can you just drop into Port Police after launching, but maybe yard has to see receipt before they are allowed to launch
What does Preveza yard charge per metre per month, and how much lift out/in? At Poros Marine I was paying €100pcm for 10m boat and I think €240 out/in.
Apologies to others for slight thread drift, but it is all about different reasons for going to Greece.
Just about perfect I would sayHow’s the weather in Preveza?
Landing tomorrow for a months cycling holiday.
Your welcome and I'll keep them coming, though might be in dribs and drabs. A couple more this morning. Our present location which is in SFS and is a farm holding that produces its own wine/bread/vegetables etc and all for sale in its own little shop. Only 25 euros per night including all taxes with everything included in price and a 10 minute walk to the tram. Also my lunch from yesterday, I thought what a small portion but the plate had a bowl in the bottom and it was surprisingly filling and very, very tasty. Off a bit later to a small FLT Aire on the edge of a small town that will put us within a couple of hours of San Marino. Later GatorThanks PhilandMena for the wonderful photos, keep up the good work.
Yes Lenny, that option was seen on the long list of charges for doing and seeing various things in the Cathedral. A bit too pricy for my skinny wallet but I got onto the back of thr que to purchase an entrance ticket 5 euros each and then saw where the front of the que was and that was the end of that. They bus schools and every teenager in Italy into this place and you need to get there very early if you want to purchase tickets without a long wait. You can also purchase tickets online and that's what I should have done in hindsight. My step sends it'd regards by the way.If you have not done Milan before its well worth paying a few Euro to go up onto the roof of the Dom.
That's a shame we'll worth a visit.Yes Lenny, that option was seen on the long list of charges for doing and seeing various things in the Cathedral. Ooh you are grumpyI was going to say the one after 6 and before 8. If you look at each post on a thread you will see at the top right hand side a hash tag followed by a number this is the post number. In post 7 I said I had just arrived at the P & R and clearly after you had departed for the ferry.
Greece trump's croatia in my humble opinion.Envious Phil, we had a fantastic 3month trip in 2019. I think you followed our thread on here? We loved Greece and are hoping to return this September (unless we decide to “do” Croatia instead).
I’m sure your long awaited trip will be enjoyed by yourselves and us. Thanks for sharing x
Nothing wrong with an ice cold glass or 2 of Retsina and Meze......
It was closed in 2020 aswell by rocks i got nice drone shots of itThe Corinth canal is closed at the moment as there was a rock fall last year. It will allegedly be reopening in early July but anyone with any experience of Greece is not holding their breath
Just pulled into our stop for today and warming light has come on with the word oil on display screen. Checked oil level and fine, engine sounds good so possibly just a faulty sensor and not the oil pump. Will see how we do when I set off tomorrow. Bugger!

I think theyve to be under 4.0mb nowadays i usually find cropping them slightly is enough. But a right pain in the #&£# if you're uploading loadsLocal tourist office put me in touch with vehicle mechanic who spoke reasonable Englisg. He said as warning light is yellow its either oil level or sensor. This was good news to my ears. I've checked level again and it's halfway between minimum and maximum so have added a half pint of Selina (I carry a couple of spare pints left over from last service) and will see how we get on tomorrow when we set off. This is a neat little stop over 5 minutes off the toll road and even has a little bar set up on thr top level car park. Also has a Bourne and dedicated Motorhome bays next to the main car park and remains quiet most of the time. Now filling up fast.
Anouther picture that is too large to load up.
This one ?Tam
It depends which one you buy depending to a large extent on ow dark it is: the really light shades are much less resiny. There is one we buy in most of Greece in beer-type bottles with lift caps, but the name escapes me. We found a similar one at our favourite beach taverna last year, called Kalamatina, but that is the only time we have seen that one.

I found it thanks to your recommendations. It's full now but the upper car parks can deal with any overspill. A nest little town too.Looks like the Castel San Pietro Terme Sosta Phil, stayed there a few times on the way down to Ancona.

Kourtaki. The biggest Retsina brand in Greece by far. They also do 1.5 or 2 litre bottles........... You have to be careful though as the alcohol level varies between the different bottle sizes. Not that I'm obsessed or anything.Tam, just for you......

I thought it was used to describe those with a foot long todger, no?A long used term to describe those who wild camp. Sadly this did not sit well with the odd member and as a result the term Free Loading T**ser was used to describe them.
I and other seasoned members love this term and have adopted it much to the dislike of those who used it in the first place. Long live the FLT'S.
