Gareth & Phil have fun in Spain 2025.

I understand where you’re coming from LennyHB but when stripping the Motorhome out, it’s surprising how much we take with us but never use or forgotten we even had.

We don't have a Morelo, but we are plated 250Kgs short of 7 Tonnes and have 2,250 Kgs of available payload. ;)
Those retarders must be mega heavy Martin. :whatthe:

Cheers,

Jock. ;)
Are you sure it’s not 1250kg Jock🤔 I thought Flair was running about 5800kg when I weighed her.

Don’t forget to factor in the plastic step which we can see you haven’t been confident enough to throw away yet!
Throw away, we don't waste stuff in the household.
That step is for one of my staff to reach the top shelf in our summer hog roast trailer, she would be very upset.

I'm not sure what happened last night but the heating hasn't been working or at least to its full potential.
It's set for 22 degrees as it's 0 degrees outside, we have hovered at 16 degrees, but I think that's just because we have that hanging dryer on as Phil did some washing last night.
I will sort it out when we get to Benidorm later.
Another annoying factor is that the washing machine is not on the inverter system, so at present, we can only use it if we have hook up.
Not good enough, someone definitely dropped the ball on that one.

I'm not trying to stir things up Gareth, but how long did their PDI and handover with you take? 🤷‍♂️ All that money shelled out for your luxury holiday home, and yet already there have been three causes for concern with items. I'd be absolutely seething and frothing at the .......ing mouth by now. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
It's just not good enough.

Good luck finding a resolve..............whilst nowhere near Premium at Doncaster. :(

Jock.

Testing times...new van, not everything goes to plan...I'm sure there will be many things in Beni that will take your mind off them, not only that, but experts to discuss your issues with.
Expect 15°c with sunny periods, thats a little below the seasonal norm...but in a sheltered spot will seem much warmer..
Enjoy Beni...

The factory are quite reluctant to put big draw items on the inverter and it depends how many batteries you have, I had to be quite specific that I wanted the air con on the inverter but they flatly refused to put the microwave/grill oven on so I did it myself.

Maybe it's because they feel that every end user is a numpty, unaware of the draw of their appliances, and the limitations of their batteries. If that is their reasoning, can a type of switching sensing unit not be installed, preventing the use of more than 1 x high draw appliance at any one time?
Our inverter is only 2000w, so when the kettle is boiled, the toaster goes on, and when the toast pops up, the microwave/grill/oven goes on. It's not rocket science for those with a bit of savvy. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

The washing machine seems an obvious thing for inverter unless it uses a lot of power? The Morello parked next to us in Portugal definitely had it on inverter because we discussed the fact they were using it without EHU.

I do wonder about the testing of the motorhome. You would expect it to be very thorough. A step not working and heating not getting to temperature seem obvious to find?

Nail on head Jock, they really have to cover their backsides against all known numptyism, a Alde load monitor is good for limiting power use on hook up and will of course cut back on heating if other things demand power.

Oh blimey, chuck it away and get a proper van.. I’ll swap it for mine but mine hasn’t got a washing machine but I’ll throw in the Brazilian to make up for it… deal…?…😎☺️

Safely parked at La Torreta camping.
It's a bit snug to say the least.
We can just open the door.
First beer and snack
May pop out or may just sit for a while 🤔😃
Pitch number 16.

We were there at Easter. Must admit the thing that I hated was the dog walk/pooing area in front of the lower toilet block. Even when we were sitting outside eating it didn’t seem to stop the owners giving a running commentary. All Brits. We were waiting for a garage so were stuck there.

Nor

Normally my reaction, however there's not a lot of choice.
Come up to Media Legua.
Even the standard pitch has plenty of space.
