A lovely afternoon with Harvey and Serina, sorry Carpmart phil tells me off as I refer to people as there motorhome fun handle and not there names.
A smogersboard of nibbles followed by a roast chicken dinner with lovely salads. Followed by sticky toffee pudding and ice cream.
Serena provided the delicious roast pototes with roasted garlic, Harvey provided the ice cream that went with the pudding.
It was a lovely day with lots of Spanish sun thank goodness

Too far i feel. We have to be back into northern Spain for our ferry back on the 22nd March. How about up to Barcelona, catch the ferry to Gerona and do Italy, Rome, Pompei, Venice Italian Lakes etc or do you want somewhere warmer in which case why not try Italy cross to Greece and do that
Definitely need the sunHow about up to Barcelona, catch the ferry to Gerona and do Italy, Rome, Pompei, Venice Italian Lakes etc or do you want somewhere warmer in which case why not try Italy cross to Greece and do that
Nice, although we are sticking to the coast for now. Good suggestion for later.Food from your Sunday roast looks delicious, no wonder everyone has massive smiles
We stayed here for 5 nights over Xmas, it’s a bit quirky but really relaxing and plenty of walking and cycling, nearest town is only 15 minutes on the bike through quiet roads.

You could take me along next time as your resident engineer, I'll do it just for the food & booze. The switch in our bathroom has stopped working.
It's getting to be a long list of broken parts on this morelo. Silly things but still annoying.
We can still control the lights from the main board, luckily.

If you haven't been the following:Checking what to do next over our morning coffee and although we have been before we may do a night at Cartagena (last time we stayed at a garage aire on the outskirts but think we will try the football ground parking).
After that there's a beach called playa de los cocedores which we have stopped before, just this side of the border with andalusia, no services but a local garage with a full service system which if I remember you can wash your motorhome.
If anybody has any other suggestions please let us know as I'm struggling to find somewhere else that we haven't done in previous trips.
We can of course always extend our time in mar menor but I think we are ready to hit the road.
Thank you, although i don't think we will be in that area on this tripIf you haven't been the following:
check it's open - plus

I am really pleased that you are Beta testing this new model for the rest of us Gareth and Phil, let us know when everything is sorted and we might look againPremuim motorhomes responded with regard to the light switch. I removed from wall with a small tug ,disconnected the wire, waited 10 seconds and replaced it back. It works again, it's apparently a software issue which will be fixed in March.View attachment 1002963
Indeed, these new models have all Can-Bus switching for habitation stuff, I imagine quite convenient when it all work OK but yes ultimately it has to be reliable. What is the world coming to when you need an IT dept for a ruddy light switch?
It did, the new oven is superb, it's a bosch and just like a household one.I am really pleased that you are Beta testing this new model for the rest of us Gareth and Phil, let us know when everything is sorted and we might look againhow is the new oven ? did that do the sticky toffee pudding ?
