Football season is back!!!

From Tottenham, always supported them, but local to Billericay Town now so go there for my live footie fix. Cheap, and can stand behind the goal with a pint

Read it again, I never said we were IN the Premier League, I said we were THE premier club in Yorkshire.

How did your teams get on today? Watching highlights of games now...

My team scraped an extra time cup win against a lower division side.

I was at St Mary's yesterday. Could have salvaged a point against Liverpool but Ings missed open goal from 2 yards.
Long season ahead.

We play Dundee in the cup later today.

How's VAR going? I saw there was a bit of last minute drama for city.

Baggies had a good win now starting to hell nice to see some attractive football for a change

Think that's the majority of Man U fans..It's City fans who live in Manchester??BUSBY.

Sorry, but I have to reply to this misguided quote !
Old Trafford holds 75,500
Away fans approx 2,500.
People who travel from all over the country, and lots of places abroad, if they were to count up to 23,000 which a lot of clubs would be happy with, that leaves 50,000 local fans from the greater Manchester area,
Manchester City ground capacity is 55,000 and they can't usually fill it unless they are playing us.
Some people need to get their facts right before coming out with the old adage that all utd fans come from somewhere else.
United born and bred and never lived more than four miles from the ground.:):):):):)

Sticks and stones etc.
Must admit it is annoying when people post drivel, usually those who have no clue and never actually go to games.
Everyone has an opinion and everyone has a backside and it usually contains the same stuff.

To be fair PaulyP will hope to watch the game in the van tonight. If not ill give it a listen ? signal dependant

My team (MCFC) were victims of VAR.. One game in and I am seriously considering giving up my seasoncard... It feels like the powers that be want us to fail judging by the events on Saturday...

I pay the princely sum of £325 for my seat which won't kill me but I can't sit and watch the league and the FA use underhand tactics to slow our progress when others (who shall remain nameless) get away with everything....

I will probably be in a small minority as people love to hate us these days but for the record.... I was here when we were ****

It is frustrating, especially when its not fluid and is disjointed and not really what the free flow of the game is about. Grr

Bit serious to some people this football ,,,thought it was a game not life and death..Love to watch it and i like my local teams to win but really it does not affect me at all.BUSBY :D :D

Canaries , great first home game in the Premiership but much stiffer opposition ahead.

Got to agree that VAR is going to give some controversial decisions, the one you refer to was correct though, the ball hitting the arm directed it to Jesus who scored, if you watch it had it not hit his arm it was going to a defender who would have cleared it.
Before VAR decisions would be looked at as some you win some you loose, it evens out over the season, but will it now !
About being hated, it's what happens when you're successful, we've always had it, you learn to ignore it.
