Have you noticed on Flightradar24 that the speeds shown are sometimes way out, last week a Cirrus’s SR22 was doing 495MPH and I have seen this happen a few times. ADSbexchange is more accurate.

If the weather in Glasgow is anything like it is up here in Aberdeen then it's going to be difficult landings for all these planes.

That could be the reason the Swedish Gulfstream was flying racetracks south of Glasgow for a while.

It's a great little plane .. we met her briefly a few weeks back at Popham airfield where she did her training and was giving joy rides to some of her old school friends in a similar airplane.

I can remember watching Flying Wild Alaska when one of the small aircraft pilots was flying medical supplies from Alaska to the island Diomede in the middle of the Bering Sea and was terrified flying into Russian airspace accidentally which starts very close to the island because there's a Russian military base nearby. Something big flew low over the campsite at 5.36 this morning and woke me up. Grabbed my phone but nothing was showing on FR24 so I guess it was from Brize just down the road.
