It was probably a Dakota... they have one for training the pilots on tail draggers before going on to the Lancaster. It was big leap from a Chupmunk to the Lanc. This Dakota was at Boscombe before going through Air Atlantic in Coventry for a full structural overhaul. It's cool in its own right though!Talking aviation a twin engined WW2 RAF aircraft with D day stripped markings flew over Shrewsbury this afternoon, it was about the size of a Dakota, could have been a Blenheim or Beufighter, any ideas.
