I reckon this must be a control line version of the C130 ... has been going around in circles for ages

Now his lines have been shortened ....

Many moons ago I was on a fully loaded VC10 taking off from Dulles. The aircraft's flaps couldn't be retracted, so we flew around in circles for 30-odd minutes burning-off and jettisoning fuel. It was late afternoon and I reckon we must've flared up thousands of barbecues. When we landed the aircraft's tyres appeared twice their usual size, due to the heavy landing. Anyway, that could be the reason for the C-130 going around in circles.

This one just did a touch and go at Norwich Airport . Not sure if any exercises going off there as my sister living near Norwich heard noisy jets this afternoon with nothing showing on FR24.

Anyone got a track on our new King, wondering if he’s got an escort to keep an eye on him?

The local Air/Sea Rescue Helicopter flew low over us last night and headed out to sea. It got down to about 15mph and very low over the water for a while before heading back to base.

Looking on the marinetraffic.com ship tracker, there didn't appear to be any vessels in the right area(guessing how far out to sea the chopper was) well, none with active trackers)

So my question is - Is there any publicly available website that combines shipping and aircraft positioning?

Saw a large low flying cargo plane hovering over the sea at Dunbar today about 11.55/12. Maybe Queens plane

There were over 500,000 viewing Queens flight so not surprised it struggled.

I picked it up on Plane Finder as waiting time on Flight Radar.

Such an impressive aircraft. An absolute giant.

I visited the aircraft museum scrapyard outside Riga Airport yesterday and was once again mesmorised by the sheer scale of some of the exhibits.

This old Russian bomber especially...

Yes there is an App for IPad etc called ‘Marinetraffic‘ which shows shipping and Coast guard choppers.
