I have a subscription that allows alerts. I've just set an alert which informs me of any B52s flying over Wiltshire. (We live 25 miles away from Fairford)How do the alerts work on FR24? Is it possible to set an alert for when a certain aircraft type is close to where you are?
Problem is my computer at work uses vodaphone sim router so thinks I am in London and my laptop uses my 3GEE so thinks I am in England somewhere. So could I set an alert for say, when an A400 Atlas is flying over NE Scotland?

They would never get there, courtesy of the RAF!I think I would set an 'Alert' for Tu-95(Big Bear) approaching Wiltshire

That might be a good reason for the flight , maybe heard RAF doesnt have its quota of Russian pilotsHope not but have you seen the RAF recruiting thread?
That's a new one on me, a Silence Twister.
The wing looks very Spitfire-ish in shape.

It could be Jim's judging by the registration.
They appear to have gone for a curry over Germany .......Two B52s just taken off from Fairford - cloud cover too low to see them, but certainly heard them!!
Unusually, neither are showing on any of my trackers.
He's up on FR24 currently.Unusually, neither are showing on any of my trackers.
Pilot covered in blood and snot everywhere.Didn’t notice this first time - Judging by the red smear at the rear of the canopy in the second shot, whatever it was lost the argument vs a Hawk at travelling at several hundred knots
