Easter Food & Drink Festival Chester

Just wondering if any of you FUNSTERS who have genny's :thumb:

Newark was the first time I've seen my single leisure battery getting very low. That was two full days of continuous heating. One hour of the engine run put a lot of it back.

I don't like gennies running ( who does ? ) or diesels but we may all need to be extra tolerant of this at Chester.

I have a nice quiet Honda Genny that I can share around.

Happy to share it now that I have a B2B it rarely sees the light of day. I will fill up my spare petrol can,
With the tempretures expected, there will be the need for sure. Heating really drags the power out of those batteries.

Mark'n'me would be very grateful for the loan of ... we are quite new to this lark, and have just 1 leisure battery. Mark reckons that if we only use a few of the lights and not TV our battery will last 3.2 days ! our heating is gas so that's OK. and an extra duvet is going in that's for sure . We don't mind about the TV but I need to charge my Nexus etc

Not received ours yet, so I phoned and spoke to the chap who composed the email we are all supposed to be receiving. His name is Callum Bar, and he has asked me to call him direct if I don't receive his email, and he will deal with it directly. (01244) 405610 (Mobile number also supplied if needed).

Apparently, we have to print off a copy of his email, for presentation at the Camperfest upon arrival.

I'm off to check out my junk folder, in case it has gone in there.

Are there any restrictions on leaving the site part way through? We haven't got our second leisure battery yet so we are going to need to top up.

The last couple of years I went for a drive on the Sunday morning, back in the afternoon, and there was no problem. Other than the amount of day visitor traffic coming in as I was trying to get out.

So what night is the 2nd ghost tour on? ......and what's the latest on the Jazz night, will there still be one? Unfortunately my hubby has been receiving mail updates and well he's just not good with emails!!! oh:

If you have a external gas point you can borrow our generator to top up if it helps.

Both Ghost Tours are on Friday Evening at 7pm. The Jazz people did not get back to me when I had time to get something organised, but if anyone would like to go I will try and give you up to date information of what they have on.
