No idea. They go Batshit crazy whenever Jackie or Gary come near the van , they will jump all over them and you can't have a conversation so I decided I would leave them in the van and I'd go outside to speak to Gary etc . They jumped around a bit in the van and then they calmed down. But obviously when they were jumping around excited one or 2 have peed themselves . No idea who but it's enough to have soaked 2 sheepskin feckin rugs. Why are they doing that Tam. They never used to did they.

I think this might be an unpopular opinion but It might be time to seek some professional help with your mental health, as it’s comes across that you struggle a lot with various aspects of life, not a surprise after loosing your mum and therefore your base, life on the road with 4 dogs full time is not easy, there are many different possible solutions to these difficulties, grief counselling , medication , a routine in a job, seeking a life partner to share the ups and downs in life or taking some time out from van life , this time of year it is not to difficult to find a nice little house in a mountain village in Spain not far from the coast and just have a rest from the constant travelling around,So Just smiffy came past today , sat outside for a bit and dogs were in the van , he left and Jackie Turned up , dogs all excited again .
As a result bother the sheepskins on my front seats , the clean throw I just put on the sofa, the matt on the floor and my swivel seat in the back all pissed on by one or two excited dogs , I'm not sure who it was .
Honestly it's better when no one visits. It's less feckin work.
So I've now got 2 wet sheepskins to try and dry . Its bad enough that milo shits on the floor every single night now and has done for nearly 2 months but one or 2 have started peeing when they get excited .
I think I might just leave a couple in Morocco as I'm getting cheesed off with their behaviour
I'd use copper slip as others have said.Is there any heat resistance lubricant that would last longer….
There is nothing worse than wind if you have to work outside in it. mentally debilitating. I had a friend who would work outside all day in rain or snow but become completely unhinged if the wind blew continuously. Even i do not like working in the wind. You cannot concentrate,it is dangerous, it is a continuous fight against it. Different if you can get out of the wind, plan then return but in it all the time is a nightmare for many. How does that work then
Ach I know that. But I gotta vent somewhere don't I... I can't very well go stand outside and shout to all these other vans that my dugs have just pissed all over my van .Tam, dogs will be dogs and will empty their bladders or bowels when you least expect or want them to. Like when our doodle did it 'liquid style' right in the middle of a German restaurant. Now that's a story.
BUT what you can guarantee is their unending love and companionship, no matter how well or badly they are treated.
It may not seem like it now. But the good times with them will always outnumber the times they piss you off.

I spoke to someone many years ago regarding my mental health. I've struggled with depression for nigh on 10 years , one of the contributing factors to me choosing this lifestyle and escaping the norm of working long hours and having a house etc was because I wanted to escape . But nothing is full proof , sometimes I have a down spell it happens , thats me and it gets tiring explaining it every year to be fair. I get down , it lasts a while and then I find a way out of it at somepoint, it's one of those things that makes me a difficult person to get on with . This time of year generally always brings me down, and each year I attempt to put a face on and try again .... most times I fail. I know I'm crabit, I know I'm also a pain in the ass and difficult to understand ....I know it , most other folk know it too....I think this might be an unpopular opinion but It might be time to seek some professional help with your mental health, as it’s comes across that you struggle a lot with various aspects of life, not a surprise after loosing your mum and therefore your base, life on the road with 4 dogs full time is not easy, there are many different possible solutions to these difficulties, grief counselling , medication , a routine in a job, seeking a life partner to share the ups and downs in life or taking some time out from van life , this time of year it is not to difficult to find a nice little house in a mountain village in Spain not far from the coast and just have a rest from the constant travelling around,
I believe I am not the only one being worried about your well being, take care Tam, look after yourself please.
Wow, I was not expecting that. I wish I was closer, to maybe offer a shoulder to support you a little, I don't know, I truly wish you all the best to get through the rough patches. For what it's worth, all of us on this forum are rooting for you Tam, I really do not know what else to say.I spoke to someone many years ago regarding my mental health. I generally look ahead and try to avoid situations that will bring me down but its not always possible ... life's a bit unfair like that I guess.
I live a lot in the past , I look back to better times , I often struggle to see better times ahead , I worry and overthink everything , some of it I share on here , some of it I keep to myself and stew about , I swear a lot.....
Rest assured I've no intention of harming myself ....that's why I have dogs , because I wouldn't leave them alone. If I hadn't got dogs I'd have checked out a long time ago.
Tablets don't work for me , my adhd meds never worked either , I found other ways to cope, I always gave myself projects and things to look forward to or achieve and that keeps me focused most of the time, that's why I've changed vehicles so many times etc and is why I sometimes do things others may consider strange , but here's the thing that some folk will understand and relate to and others just won't get it.
You can be surrounded by people and still feel lonely .
You can have lots of things to feel happy and cheerful about and still be depressed .
You can want company and still crave peace.
You can be loved by many and still feel unloved or unfulfilled.
The vast majority of people handle and cope with that stuff without a second thought . .....but if you're one of those who doesn't always .. well ...you just don't.
And sometimes I just don't. ...
No one including a professional can help me with that. I deal with it until one day I can no longer deal with it

I've actually not moved as often on this trip there's only been a few places I've stayed just one night. Many I've been there 3 or 4 nights this time. And I plan to do the same with Morocco this time ,I'll do assilah for 2 nights probably then head down to at least Rabat ..I'm avoiding a lot of the north as the level of poverty , stray dogs and trash really got to me the last time . I will probably stay in a few of the cheap campsites to avoid the hassle of the carpark gorillas and if I'm venturing in to the souks or medinas I'll leave the dogs in the van.Very honest post.
Whilst you are feeling that way I have always wanted to ask, or wondered maybe, why you move so fast from place to place. I know on some of your previous trips you have stayed put awhile when you have met people and enjoyed their company but mostly you keep shifting.
We move around but we will always stay in one place for a few days and see what happens. Sometimes seemingly boring places become interesting and there is more than initially meets the eye. Sometimes they just get worse though I admit.
Just wondering. You always seem more content when you do fine a spot you like.
Hang in there Tam. It’s not unreasonable to be fed up when the dogs are having accidents in the motorhome or to be fed up when things don’t seem to be working out. You know your own mental health best and how to work through it best. I’m sure you know to reach out to professional help if it becomes overwhelming. Thanks ...You don't have to say anything it'll pass
So many people have issues in life, some worse as others obviously, you seem to know your own pitfalls quite well, that definitely helps in difficult times, everyone is different, I really need to share my life with a special loved one as I am not very good on my own for prolonged times, I find life so much more beautiful when you are able to share it.I spoke to someone many years ago regarding my mental health. Aye I've already said to garry ill go over on the 1st as NO ONE wants to go to the bleedin 3 Kings parade bar me it seems and as Jackie can't seem to decide one way or another what she's doing I'll either end up heading over myself and having a right headache or just not going.Northernraider we had friends over last night, their dog is 14, and have known this home and our family his whole life. He pissed 3 times whilst here, 1st time on the hall carpet, 2nd under the dinner table on, 3rd time on the lounge floor. He's a dog, it happens. This our 1st Xmas as orphans, we lost the last mother on November 20, the other mother last September.
As Just smiffy mentioned there are a group of funster likely going across to Morrocce, join them and they'll get you back on track.
The company of friends, whether you've met them before from online or not will lift your spirits.

I really hope for you that an easier period in your life is near, we all do I believe, life is to short to be unhappy for prolonged periods of time
