Doc on tour, France, Spain, Morroco.

I too prefer the all white version. Basingstoke is just off A303 and Junction with M3. Coming from west you go past if going tunnel or Dover ferry

Northernraider I have an unused RAM Mount for a tablet if it's of use to you.

Anyone passing by Basingstoke to you can collect it.
Any chance you could post it to uncle Lenny HB ?

Northernraider. I know I'm biased, but it's all white for me too Tam, encouraging me to keep her clean. ;)

She's not actively seen snow since.

Cheers,

Tam you said about getting some of the skirts done and if you do that I think after a while you’ll see the difference in colour on the skirting and you’ll kick yourself not having all the skirting done… but I do too think you’ll be better off having the whole lot done with the door, I think it looks more modern and white is one of the easiest to keep clean…

I’m definitely having the front of my van done…😎

Seems the consensus is folk agree with me the colour coded would look better .

Should freshen it up nicely.
I might be a few pages adrift but if the debate is about colour coding the bumpers and trim I say go for it (y) and silver on the headlight surrounds while you are at it ;)

I think you would end up cussing if you didn't go all white.
I'm sat here imagining I'm reading your thread next winter and all your agitation...oh God! :giggle:

The headlight surrounds will never see silver again Martin.

This looks so much better

Yes me too because depending how this trip goes I may never return to morroco, so if I'm gonna get it done now is the time to do it.

Jock

I did not know that you had bought Martin's funflair Flair.

We were interested in it and met up in France to view it. It was very good example but for me his choice of selecting the lower level bed over the garage, restricting the garage height, put me off and I could not see an easy way of re-jigging the bed because of the wardrobes.

I am glad it found a good home with a MHFun Member.

We have since met up with Martin and Jen at the Morelo Open.

The “All White” definitely would improve the appearance..Make it have a more modern look and tidy up the areas of concern.
I do wonder how the broad silver stripe around the bottom of the body will look?
Would it be possible to remove? Is it a series of decals?
The rest of the Decals on the sides look very nice 👌
Whatever you do will definitely brighten it and modernise it. Make hay whilst you have the opportunity.

Where's Basingstoke? Is it near Nottingham? I've nothing booked yet but I'm more than likely to be going down through Blighty to the channel tunnel and I always overnight half way down around Nottingham area... probably 1st week of January and could call for it....

I think you've made your mind up but I would paint out the blue with silver and the side skirts the same - like Moby.- there is a natural line on each side.

Would look less like a slab of white.

Maybe someone could photoshop a few variations.....

Not sure what blue you mean Vic....the only blue is the side graphics , the bumpers and side skirts are all grey at present ..albeit a slightly different shade between bumper and side skirts as the bumper is plastic but skirt is aluminium.
If I get it all done white including the full front grp section and the drivers door in the fiat bianco 210 the same as the sides and rear it should All be matching.

The grey stripe that currently runs along the sides above the skirts is OK on the rhs but is badly sun damaged on the lhs and I was planning to have those replaced anyway. I'd like to just remove them but I think they would leave a mark , so maybe I'd have them replaced in blue vinyl instead .. not sure yet.

That vintage motorcycle looks like it’s got disc brakes 😁
Its an Indian built Royal Enfield single that's why, just looks vintage been making them in India since the 1950,s initially for the Indian Army probably about 4 or 5 years old at the most
