Right folks I've been thinking

So as you know I plan to have a bit of paintwork done in Morocco. I want the underside cleaned up and painted but I also need the drivers door sprayed as it's discoloured and the front bumper and wheel arches are faded ,scuffed and frankly a mess.

But I keep looking at models that are fully colour coded and don't have the grey section along the bottom and I can't help thinking would Doc look better if I had it colour coded and the front grp section also sprayed so the whole van was white with just the grey and blue graphics , mirrors too.

The newer Flair is all white like JockandRita

This Concorde is all white and looks good

What dya think?

I don't want to get the bits painted I'm Morocco then wish I had just gone the whole hog and got it colour coded.

Our 2014 Arto is in a colour called champagne but is a silvery grey and looks smart with its black decals. The roof is white.

The silvery grey is very good at not showing the dirt whereas white will show every mark.

Yeah but I'm not painting the whole van so it's either white and grey like it is now or all white.

I think having the lower parts of a MH a darker colour is more practical as that is the area that picks up the most road dirt.

But if you like cleaning the MH frequently then white would be ideal.

As an aside I learnt this summer about how much a white bodywork reflects the UV in sunshine- I was sitting near our MH but in deep shade of cypress trees, but the sun was on the MH body. I wondered how I got sunburn, but realised after I saw how much reflected light there was around my chair - even enough to cause shadows and silhouettes. That UV would have heated the MH quite a lot had it been a darker colour.

Don't have a bracket for my tablet and Google maps etc is useless for vans this size .
Train Milo to sit on the dash and hold it! :giggle: I thought there were alternatives to Google?

There are two knitting machines sitting on our dinning room table, 'er indoors is supposed to be renovating them.

Tank tops are like vests but in patterned jumper form.

Short sleeve jumpers could be a very different style like V. Neck.
