Will they be rounding up unruly football followers, and shooting them? Last time I went to the footy the 'fans' built a bonfire of scarves, jumpers and set fire to them, when the firemen went in to extinguish the fire the 'fans' kicked the crap out of them. Goodison Park in the early 70s, not been to footy since.
Was invited to a cup match in the 90s, didn't go but the 'fans' invaded the pitch and snapped the goalposts.
Sharpened pennies, razor blades in potatoes thrown at other team supporters, very odd sport.
There's always been ones getting rehomed outwith Turkey but a fraction of whats there. As I said Istanbul, bodrum, antalaya are different from the rest of Turkey. I saw some terrible states last year.
Tbf Still not clear but suspect there's a bit of both going on.
The problem in buying from a supermarket is it’s not supporting the local economy, buy local and spend local.Supermarkets especially larger ones are central purchasing.I’ve found a lot of stuff cheeper in the supermarket then the markets… I looked at tagines and a big one was 55d and a single one glazed was 35d .. I found the veg and fruit cheeper in maroc carrefore cheeper then the bloke coming around the site…
Unpopular opinion but I'm not that bothered about supporting the local economy. I'm about what works best for my pocket and what's easier. The problem in buying from a supermarket is it’s not supporting the local economy, buy local and spend local.Supermarkets especially larger ones are central purchasing.
I expect it depends on quite a lot of factors.Unpopular opinion but I'm not that bothered about supporting the local economy. I'm about what works best for my pocket and what's easier.
The haggling thing can be a bit fun now and then with the odd purchase but I'm not doing it over fruit n veg
Ice Cream or other goodies?
Yes we've been told we treat our dog like a child, well that's what his piano teacher saidThe term I'm increasingly hearing is "humanising pets".
You're not going to Liverpool anytime soon thenAs I've got older I've actually become more picky about where I will go.
So my list of exclusions is pretty long. Theocracy? Discrimination against women? Banned alcohol? Punish gays? Lop body parts off for breaking the law? Not sufficiently democratic? Not safe enough? Dirty? Corrupt? Infrastructure below my personal dodginess threshold?
Morocco wasn't really on the cards for me anyway.
There are the places I will visit. For everything else there is the internet.
I'll leave the attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion to other people.
Tangier med .So Tam, without having to trawl back, where did you land in maroc? Also how much is diesel over there atm?
Moroccan spices are not like Indian spices they are more fragrant. I agree with you I don't like hot and spicy or what I call painful foodThere is a lot of mention about sices and curry ingredients, but what about herbs - are they plentiful?
I do not like spicey food.
Yes you can get pretty much anything .There is a lot of mention about sices and curry ingredients, but what about herbs - are they plentiful?

I bought a 10kg bag of oranges from a road side seller last week .. it cost me 100dh so roughly 1 euro a kg. Unfortunately they haven't lasted very well and I've lost probably 4kg to them starting to turn .... fortunately I fed them to donkeys so not a complete loss , but even the ones I've eaten weren't the best , very tough some of them others quite dry.I expect it depends on quite a lot of factors.
In the UK it's big supply chains only for us. So that horse bolted long ago.
In Portugal we do get some fruit and veg deliveries from a couple who run a local small farm.
But they have to be more or less price competitive with big supermarkets. These supermarkets, of course, have a track record of really squeezing their suppliers (many of whom are in far poorer countries). Our guys can be a bit more expensive, but it's not infinitely elastic.
So indirectly, even though we buy from the local crowd, they are still being squeezed because the supermarkets squeeze their third world suppliers.
But we also still have to believe that their produce, hygiene standards, quality control etc. are up to scratch. We do believe so, so it's ok. But that is a question that would need to be answered very locally every time.
I love hot and spicy .Moroccan spices are not like Indian spices they are more fragrant. I agree with you I don't like hot and spicy or what I call painful food
Ras el hanout is my favourite too, you used to be able to buy it over here with the dried rose petals in it but it is now always ground but is so lovely mixed with lemon juice and crushed garlic and spread over a leg of lamb before roastingI love hot and spicy .
Morrocans can do hot and spicy too it just depends what you're buying .
But it is very good for spices thats for sure.
The ras el hanout in particular is a lovely spice

I don't think I'll be buying any of the big bags again as a result.
I eat 3/4 oranges a day and have done for many years but I like them sweet n juicy .
Annoyingly the RFU has apparently been looking at segregation because they feel it will improve the atmosphere. Bloody stupid, and a shame I always enjoy the banter with opposing fans and Glaws. It is quite interesting to see the difference in police presence and crowd control preparation between say Twickenham and football stadiums. Not to mention that the supporters are all intermingled at rugby matches.
As the old joke has it rugby is a game for hooligans played by gentlemen, football a game for gentlemen played by hooligans.
But it is striking how we - the same people - can culturally 'code switch' just depending on the context. Weather ok? I'll be well-mannered at the roundabouts. A bit of snow? It's a Mad Max world.
Wouldn't have thought so as I've not mentioned any problem just asked if they had or could get a master cylinder. Gave them part number and v5 for chassis number etc.Checking the load sensor maybe?

I'm getting a price for supply only and for supply and fit.
He did ask if for left or right though so I assuming there's a difference In Lhd and rhd ... which would make sense I guess .
Fortunately it is lhd so should be more common here. Think he's trying to get alternative part numbers from casablanca
That's the concern ha ha I tried to ask him and he just smiled and walked off. Only the guy in office speaks English. Can’t think of what else he’d be doing under there? Maybe admiring your chassis and diff?

There's a le voyager here too with French couple .. no handbrake
They're having some bother trying to take the rear hub off of it .
I'm wondering if there's a chassis number stamped under there or some other identifying number or plate. My v5 gives limited information. I did tell him model number etc but tbf I'm not filled with confidence of getting the part. There you go, he’s confused which Motorhome has the handbrake problem! OR, he’s looking if he can harvest some parts for the other motorhome.
