May I ask everybody now .... if you arn't already in a team you have sorted yourself, if you turn up and want to be in a team and an organiser shouts WILL YOU RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU WANT TO BE IN A TEAM so that people know and can quickly put you into sixes ....PLEASE put your hand up. . I damaged my larynx last year because people stood smiling at me .. which, don't get me wrong, was very nice .. but it was like herding wild cats. . And took ages. Thank you.

At the top of the page where it says forums click on forum it will drop down and say scheduled rally's and rally chat, click in Rally Chat find what's on at Chester and click on that, and you will have it. Let men know when you have it.

To all going to Chester please beware the New Runcorn bridge think it is called the Queensway bridge charge £6 each way for Motorhome’s, you have to pay online before midnight the following day. You pay online.
It is one to be avoided if possible.
The Mersey tunnel only charge the same as a car think it is £1.70.
Hope this helps people not get stung by the bridge.

The problem isnt the actual charge Pete, though it’s about three times the cost of Dartford, it’s if you aren’t aware, miss the poor signing (it’s been improved since it opened but is still poor), and then get hit with a big penalty because you didn’t realise and pay up quickly. It’s best avoided altogether if you don’t have to use it and the helpful suggestion by the Liver birds is a useful tip for some. It may affect some who normally travel the shortest sat navy route west on the M62 to J7 then Widnes and Runcorn to M56, and all are advised if travelling west or south to get to Chester to use the M6, M56 and M53 to get to Chester if you want to avoid the toll.

I avoid it by going South via Warrington.

Bit more info you are best/easier using the Wallasey tunnel
Plus there is a 3.5t limit in the Birkenhead Tunnel.

It may be because people are like me, you book the event add to the thread you have booked and paid then completely forget to press the Attendees tab and add youself to the list.

Newbie to this but why 50+ on list but only 11 attendees?

Hi Derek and Jean, it can be confusing but the planning is mostly done on the relevant rally threads the calander is mainly uses as a back up , if you could have a read of what we have planned on the Rally Chat Chestef forum it will give you a good idea of what is planned and you are welcome to join in with as little or as much as you like.

We have a very popular quiz on Friday night let us know if you would like to join in.
Saturday morning we have yoga for anyone wanting to join in, the evening we have music and cheese and wine evening (Jacobs table)
Sunday morning coffee along with our Easter Cake competition and Easter bonnet parade, prizes for the winners, all in good fun.

Lots of information on the rally chat thread, also for our newbies we have an informal get together in the marquee hosted by our solo group all newbies welcome solo or couples.

Any questions please ask.
