I'm looking forward to a catch up too. I love baking cakes, but I never use my oven in the van, so producing an Easter cake will be interesting and a challenge :eek:. If you need any help with anything, I am happy to lend a hand. Rory is well....he has a new lady I think (y)

@Swansea Jack I hate to tell you but @Clive is definitely beating you at bribery and corruption for the quiz answers. He has several large G&T's, whiskey tasting, putting up with being next door to our gennie when we had the RV and Allan breaking his table!

Lol Wendy it was the man in the small van, he was quite funny, he had had a few vans and they were all called Fanny.

I'm afraid I am messing up these posts as I still don't seem to know what I'm doing. I guess I will wait to hear from Sue so I can find out whether she is able to go or not. To private message someone look at the top of this page and you'll see "inbox". If you go there you can start a private conversation

Ah @Clive Ray @Swansea Jack has played the Welsh card so that overrules everything as my niece is Welsh and will be visiting me at Chester with her new baby Alaw for our first cuddle. So all bribes off the table, just not yours clive as it' broken lol
 
For any one who missed my post, just to let you know the entrance by the booth has now been widened so it's much easier to get in.

For anyone who has not seen the thread in Rally Chat for Chester please have a look, more information gone on.

If anyone is replying to posts could you please put your place number it saves me going through the list of 90 odd and helps a lot.

If it helps any of the cake cookers, I have a proper oven in my camper that they are welcome to use. The price will be a slice of the cake or a mini cake just for me.

@swanseajack13 Ray has kindly said he will run a raffle for us, so if you would like to bring along anything for the raffle table it would be appreciated bottle wine, Easter Egg, any thing you like, I'm sure Ray will be along with updates. :)

I have been following this thread and have finally decided that I have to comment, having met swansea jack at the halloween rally at Pembury I do not recognise that fine upstanding gentleman who gives so much towards this forum, in the comments made. He was willing to help a fellow funster back to his motorhome (Marrod) when he was apparently incapable of walking under his own steam. He is a credit to his nation I believe that I am a good judge of character, Putin would not lie, Harold Shipman was a trusted GP, Jimmy Saville did lots of good for charity and Swansea Jack would not be seen drunk durng daylight hours unless his drink had been spiked.

Hi Sue+dogs thank you for letting me know, i hope your dog does alright after his operation, I take it that you have changed details for @Julie S with Chester. I will amend the list here.

Hi @Carol, just to confirm that I have also changed details with Briony, and have paid Sue for her ticket. Looking forward to seeing you (and the other ladies) at Chester. I start my travels tomorrow, heading off to Bournemouth, and then wending my way back up again. Also, thank you for letting @Techno know of the change. See you soon :smiley:
