Campsite charges

Bromyard Downs CAMC site for next weekend . £16 for 2 adults and 3 kids . No facilities but great value for money 👍🏻

Thanks
But Sunday dinner got in the way roast pork etc.
Enjoyed you stay?
Good to be out?
Yes good stay and good to be out. Peaceful spot near the end of a no through road with fine views. Adults only site. Short walk to footbridge over the river. Got a good lunch at the Lough Pool Inn 10 minute drive from here.

Everything is a rip-off unless it’s you that’s getting the money, simples.

Just stayed on a vineyard in Wales and they charge £17 a night yet have 95% occupancy.
He thanks pitch up even though they take 15% he’s very happy.
Where is that? I'm in Wales and planning to pop off on a,wee trip shortly.

I'm afraid we don't have a vineyard here lots of wild life and plenty of room for a 5 van site. We wanted to try and keep prices reasonable, all as we need now is for more of you to actually visit us and make the most of this beautiful weather.
we would love to come out to play...but got to work :X3: looking forward to our Dorset trip in july, that reminds me, need to send my SAE to jim for our Funsters sticker:clap:

We've booked all CAMC sites for this year..... prices are as to be expected, we had planned Normandy and Brittany but we know what got in the way.....planning to head to the Netherlands next summer

I wonder if any of these so called “profiteering” campsites are making any profits after a succession of lockdowns and the continuing requirements for deep cleaning. If you don’t like their prices go somewhere else. The £15 CS we are currently on has fabulous views of the river Wye and has not been full all week.
Hi, where is this please?

Is It just me or has anyone else noticed how campsite fees are rocketing, are we being taken for mugs by these companies trying to make up loses in lockdown.?
your thoughts welcome.
Joe
If you think the sites are rocketing have a look at the price hotels are now charging for a basic room  some room rates are £300.00 plus

I wondered if hotel rooms had gone up the other week when someone was saying "you can get a hotel room for that" re pitch prices 🤔😏

Depends on the individuals idea of rocketing is.

Maybe I am odd but I look at what they charge and wonder how they make it pay
Unlimited electricity and water ,rates toilet and shower blocks ,cleaning keeping grass cut ,pitches maintained warden costs etc isnt cheap

Oh dear, I really am getting worried about you now.
It's the official beer of England 😊...

Just booked 2 nights at Camping In The Forrest, Setthorns Campsite New Milton, near Sway in the New Forrest, choose your own pitch, hardstanding or Grass, ehu or not, no toilet blocks or showers, just loads of wildlife, Birds, Deer, ponies, etc £24 for two nights for both of us.
Lovely Job! Yes it a campsite, but dont tell the FLT Police, needs must and all that.;)
LES
PS: does drinking Bud Light make the toilet cassette lighter to carry when full? If not I would want my money back.:giggle:

£12 a night and we are empty next week ??
If we put our nightly rate to £18 would we be full??
Doubtful
For most of us it’s a mix of facilities (or lack of), views, and of course location location

Last year we did only 6 sites as we didn't get the van till late.
Least expensive site was £24 per nt, the one that cost the most was £33 per nt, all were non C sites and all with EHU and were excellent.
Interesting to see what this year may bring. Just paid £186 for 6 nights on The Gower with EHU.

Saw one in the Outer Hebrides, £30 night including EHU, water and waste but no toilets/showers.

Going to Foy end of July £9/night THS.
They were operating the Foy THS until yesterday. Fabulous position right on the banks of the River Wye. The CL is a little further up the lane. Enjoy.

I only first tried it about 2 weeks ago. They'd sold out of carling in Newquay wetherspoons and Bud light was only £1.99 a pint so I ordered that 😍 a beery taste but not bitter and no after taste.

Actually 🤔 if you can taste it you've definitely NOT got covid😁
