Rally Bridlington 5th - 12th June 2023

Looking for something to do (?) rather than fish and chips and beach walks, although you could walk the beach for part of the journey here! A long walk, a medium cycle ride or a short car trip, a small memorial, but they all stir the memories don’t they! Lest we forget!

For those fishing today, don’t forget a liberal application of factor 30 is always a good idea, even in overcast conditions, when on a boat for six hours! ️

Terry you obviously didn’t attend Sunday School - they only need TWO fishes!

Although (as Mousy alluded to) if Topsham was anything to go buy I’d be out buying some fish to go with that bread …..

Well, it didn’t go quite to plan. The North Sea is a shadow of its former self…

Almost everyone caught a few fish, but they were either non edible (pouting/doggies/codling) or undersized.

A good time was had by all and I’m delighted to report, unlike the Topsham ‘cruise’, (we can’t call it fishing with nothing caught!), no ground baiting was undertaken by any of the party.

It's good you all had a good time and enjoyed the day. A shame you couldn't feed the 5000 ,but there's always another day.

Knew we couldn’t rely on you lot so I bought my own fish and chips (plus chocolate cake). We did walk a long way to get it though Harvey Carpmart 22,000 steps today.
