Rally Bridlington 5th - 12th June 2023

Woohoo, I'm now on the list and off the reserves.
Could do with a lift to the harbour, if anyone would be so kind, due to my hip some days i cant walk far . I have a blue badge so we can use it to park for free.

There are several disabled parking spaces just down the ramp. Near to where the road goes down to the promenade to Bridlington Spa. It's next to the harbour.👍

I can drive… it’s a four person car… I shall let Tony decide the seating/transport plan!

Most skippers I’ve been out with often provide a parking permit… can you check if this is available?

Do we fancy leaving earlier to allow time for a traditional fry up before we head out? Gives those with poor sea legs something to tempt the fish with… 🤪 Hueweeeeeee!!

🎣🎣
Sounds like a good idea the breakfast before we head out to sea. I will need a lift down to the harbour thanks for offering to use your car Harvey I think we have between 7 and 9 fishing so we need to make sure we can all get to the harbour.

Nothing like pukeing up some ground bait 🗣️ I will need transportation.

They threw up their breakfasts on a calm day off Exmouth - the fishies are going to eat well off Bridlington…🤣

Seriously though, we hope you have a brilliant rally, and that the sun shines every day :sun:

We’ll be in Padstow, where the sun will be guaranteed!

There is parking right at the Harbour near the Heidi J… note there is sadly no blue badge parking, it’s full price!

There is a cafe with reasonable reviews close by too!

Nearest Curry house, where you can stop the night, empty your black and grey waste, fill with water for £10 and get a discount on your curry…..

Anybody coming via M62/A614 be aware of the road works and the exit for the A614 is a lot sooner if you miss it it's a PITA don't ask me how I know 😭
Chosen few eh? :X3:

But did you get caught behind the extremely wide and long load from South Cave, 4 miles at walking speed. See you tomorrow.
Now at the Robin Hood Inn, Middleton on the Wold, nice place level car park, dog friendly.

We’ve never been before and I’ve entered the postcode which covers quite a large area. If I enter the Yacht club that shows me coming off the Kingsgate road one roundabout earlier. We’re coming from the South. Does anyone have a “what 3 words” co ordinate I can use please or advice?

Brilliant, thankyou both Steve and Denise and Ditcha . By the time we arrive tomorrow afternoon we will no doubt have had a few hiccups so want to arrive still speaking to one another!
Do not take the first roundabout that has a turn that says dead end go to the next roundabout 👍 once your here it’s easy 🤣

This is what we were stuck behind for an hour+ this afternoon after missing the M62 A614 junction turn off. A rolling demolition unit bringing down branches from both sides of the road. It was moving slow enough for the crew walking with it to remove the debris from the road as it trundled along at 3 mph. Impressive with front and rear tractors and a rear steering set of wheels, all in all about 100 ft long.

Saw this on the news. We will be coming across humber bridge.

Bloody LPG, got over excited because the pump at Podimore was working. The right hand side is always temperamental and always fails me and I have to thread the hose from the other side. No I thought I’d give it a chance again this year , LPG alover my hand (leather gloves in the door one foot away). Other side threaded through and worked perfectly.

Yes I did report it but just got a blank look. Have I just jinxed the machine?

Half way there.
