Rally [Aug 6, 2015] Bristol Balloon Fiesta Funster Rally. (Brsitol)

Debs - think with a Honda you will make a lot of friends (y):)
As I said it isn't ours, we borrowed it once before to take with the caravan down to Roundhill in the New Forest but couldn't get it to work........that was a few years ago and it hasn't been used since:eek:
.......perhaps Les ought to ask for a demo this time but......you know what blokes can be like with instructions:p

Is a genny the answer to anything?? Unless its a large one, (over 2 KW), it wont give you anything that running the van engine for an hour during the day when neighbours are out wont supply, namely battery top up. My solar panel seems to do most of the charging with very little effort.

I'm with you Tootles, when I was away in Scotland last month I used the engine to get MH warm in the morning when off site and at same time charge batteries. I was amazed at how much charge it put in and how relatively little fuel it seemed to use running for about an hour at a time

Far too much weight to carry in a generator, both payload and manual handling, plus you also need to carry a can of petrol, never had one of them that didn't smell awful in a closed space, even the generator niffs a bit of petrol and drops a little oil where stood

Anybody want to buy a Honda 750? :D (free petrol can included)

My thoughts as well, David. I have a Honda 1000 EU, the quite one. The only time it gets taken out of the shed is to run it, so that the jets don't block up. What a waste.

So Bertie  Wayne was winding us up earlier???;)
Well August is a long way away.....plenty of time to decide :)

just trying to save you the hassle of carting it down there, seriously you will use about the same amount of fuel running your engine :)
That's fine David, thanks. I hadn't appreciated that there was a viable alternative (and obviously Les hadn't either as it was him who mentioned the genny to his brother the other day:D)
This stuff is still really new to us - although we've caravanned for 20 odd years it was always with a hook up.......
So please, feel free to make suggestions (y)

Don't know what you mean, I think he'll be a cuddly, wuddly, fluffy bunny......but then that's probably just with us girlies:LOL:

And it's a really big, scary bridge......we did get a bit closer at the week end, until my hyperventilation stopped me:Eeek:.

I do believe there's some big white trees there that all the branches have fallen of that could do with coming down, I'll give him a hand and we could share the wood?

Trikeman! Please reserve me a pitch in the 'GENNY FREE ZONE' !
Or supply me with a free bag of sugar :sneaky:
Don't worry Grumps, I'll not have one. May need to run my engine for a few hours to keep sum electrickery int batteries though, only a couple say between 2 and 4 am. :boxing::imoutahere::getmecoat:
