Anyone worried?

No, of course worrying doesn't prevent things. However, some consequences can be more serious than a fence panel. We live in France and own land in the UK that's very exposed with very old oak trees on it. Some of those trees are close to a road. It's entirely possible one of those trees could've fallen and killed someone. If I didn't worry about that, I wouldn't be pleased with myself at all :)
Just wondering how worrying helps? Can you explain please?

I don’t understand why anyone worries about things they have no control over. It got a bit blowy and damaged a fence panel. I’ll fix it this morning. Perhaps if I’d worried about it it wouldn’t have been damaged. Can the worriers clarify whether worrying would have prevented the fence damage please?

Wow. Daftest thing I’ve read today.

Don’t worry about it. If you can do something to help or prevent something happening then do it. If you can’t then worrying is not helpful or constructive. I’ve worked with worriers in some of my occupations, they tend to not be useful.

As long as shit continues to exist, it will happen. There is nothing anyone can do to completely stop it happening. The only important thing is, how we deal with it once it presents!

Snow in Yorkshire today!

Well, since I'm a worrier and you feel that worriers are not useful, I'm sure you won't want to read any of the useless drivel I might write in response to any of your posts. So, to save you having to read the useless drivel of this particular worrier, I'll save you the trouble. Welcome to my Ignore list.

Still waiting for the bad stuff in South Lincs - nothing much yet but due around 2.00pm
Well Eustice was awful but Franklin seems even worse around here. Luckily I cut most of a 40' conifer down earlier otherwise it would be through next doors roof
