Says it all thenNo , I plan on running around all the pitches coughing all over everyone and licking the door handles !
I agreeAFAICS some of them seem to be competing for a trip to Coventry, especially dulvil
I won’t be getting banned as I am only being honest and trying to be polite whilst under attack lolIf this thread carries on the way it is...
I can see a large "Funster" meet in Coventry looming...
(Snap) same time as me... AFAICS some of them seem to be competing for a trip to Coventry, especially dulvil
So if you see someone else doing wrong, it gives you licence to also do wrong?I'm going away for New Year's Eve, it's legal, I follow all the government guidelines regarding self isolation, so what's the problem it's personal choice.
Do you publicly share your opinions on people not wearing masks in public, people not keeping to 1 or 2 metre space, people leaving London like lemmings, people who go to restaurants for meals, people who don't use hand sanitizer before and after touching anything they don't own, people who met up with family over Christmas, or any other time, people who choose to leave home to go to work and so the list goes on and on
Let him that hath no sin vast the first stone
Nice to see another Motorhomer on this forum . Thought I was in the wrong placeI'm going away for New Year's Eve, it's legal, I follow all the government guidelines regarding self isolation, so what's the problem it's personal choice.

Vast? typo ? Beer typo? or Vinho typo?Let him that hath no sin vast the first stone
To be fair if the regulations say the campsite is open, safe and legal then he has nothing to defend. And the OP thinks it's fair enough defending his proposed NYE jolly?
Just to put that in perspective - its gone from 0.08% to 0.22% cases, most of which will not require intervention.Just on the news now, York in tier 2 at xmas with 80 per 100 thou has now jumped to 218 per 100 thou in just a few days, now expecting to go into tier 3/4 tomorrow
a popular campsite on this forum was open until the tier change. If we re letting the government determine the required practices then why do we need to goldplate them? Many areas of this country have low numbers of cases, Shropshires latest numbers are still in the 90,s so less than 0.1%, large areas of Wales have even less.I'm not surprised folk are getting heated, when they've not been able to see family, when people they know have been very seriously ill, or even died.
Then there's the way this virus might have financially affected them or their household, loss of job/business
And the OP thinks it's fair enough defending his proposed NYE jolly?
Most ? Correct ,but what about the deaths , long Covid ?Just to put that in perspective - its gone from 0.08% to 0.22% cases, most of which will not require intervention.
Wales ??? The hospitals there are nearly at breaking point ! The NHS deserve all the help they can get , by people taking responsibility and advice .a popular campsite on this forum was open until the tier change. No!Had an email from campsite . Check in reminder for tomorrow so looks like we can still go away .
Anyone else still got a booking somewhere ?
In Poole here, not looking forward to tomorrow’s announcements. I haven’t seen much difference in road travel or footfall in the local shops. All because you can doesn’t mean you should so no, we are staying put. We are in a Tier 2 area but 7 day case rates for Dorset 120 per 100,00 up from 46 on 18th Dec, and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are 218 up from 86. We haven’t even seen the effects of Christmas yet. I will just go and bash my head against a brick wall for a bit.
...and I'm sure you'd like to keep it that way...Many areas of this country have low numbers of cases, Shropshires latest numbers are still in the 90,s so less than 0.1%, large areas of Wales have even less.
Shocking behaviour I knowWhat I find astonishing isn't that someone is going away during a pandemic, but that they announce it on a forum and are surprised when they get some stick..
Only the few in the south, probably more to do with Wales not having many hospitals.Wales ??? The hospitals there are nearly at breaking point ! The NHS deserve all the help they can get , by people taking responsibility and advice .
I think its called trolling. There's a lot of it about. Ignore. Its boring. What I find astonishing isn't that someone is going away during a pandemic, but that they announce it on a forum and are surprised when they get some stick..
If people follow the rules and don't travel in from higher tiers it should be OK, the OP is not suggesting breaking the rules....and I'm sure you'd like to keep it that way...
Thank you . I am simply following the current guidanceIf people follow the rules and don't travel in from higher tiers it should be OK, the OP is not suggesting breaking the rules.
Do you think this thread will catch fire shortly? If people follow the rules and don't travel in from higher tiers it should be OK, the OP is not suggesting breaking the rules.
