Our view this evening at Camping-Car Park's "Camping Les Flots", Rochfoucauld, Charente, France. This is our second visit here. It's so pretty and peaceful. The site is very well kept and the facilities are immacualte (closed at the moment, though). A short walk to the town, where you can see the chateau (open to the public but no dogs allowed) and the beautiful river. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, too, and even a chocolatier!! If you don't want to stay on a site, there's a huge parking area in the centre, with a marked out area for MoHos.

Currently parked up at the Taillebourg camping car park site, €11 / night, lovely big pitches, 6 amp electric and water on each pitch, a quiet night despite being close to a railway line. Be aware the entrance is a sharp right hand turn, I got in okay but I wouldn't liķe to do it in anything much larger.

The tractors in Spain having their itv ( mot ) tests, they have a drive over weighbridge check lights, number plates, roar off and lock the brakes on, and spend a lot of time with a tape measure is this done in the UK chaser ? Bob.
