Out my bed window this morning. A dreach day at Portobello beach. The sea is there somewhere, I promise!

I love woodland sites, where are you?
CMC Coniston Park Coppice. I have to say that I am really liking this place even if it is uphill in every direction.
It just does not feel like a big site and you would never know that it is at 95% capacity. Money well spent on this occasion.

really love this thread, :giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:

Loch Doon caravan site which is on the border with Ayrshire/Dumfries & Galloway, only a few minutes from my door., result.
The site is £15 a night which includes leccy albeit at only 8amps.
It's ran by a local community group & the welcome is friendly, there is no toilet block, but there are freshwater points as well as waste disposal points.
I keep hearing that folks cannot get booked onto a site, well there are quite a few empty places this evening.
