Today we left La Bastide-Puylaurent (little known fact - Robert Louis Stevenson stayed in the Monastery here many years ago)

Read the travel book many years ago, was interesting, keep meaning to read it again!

A boat passing on the Canal de Briare taken from our pitch on the municipal campsite at La Trezee. Less than a fiver a night or £7.50 with electric! This morning there are just 2 vans including us on a 90+ pitch site.

Château Gaillard built by Richard the Lionheart viewed from Flower Camping de L'ille des Trois Rois campsite. I am never failed to be impressed by these ruins whenever we stay at this lovely site. Drive up to the ruins, there is plenty of parking, pay the entrance fee and be amazed

seasideBill i think you need to look out 👀. We’re heading your way today if you’re still down at Constance.

We’ve hijacked other funsters enjoying their European breaks. Don’t think you’ll get away with it

Heading west tomorrow so I’ll spare you that. You’ll enjoy it here. Weather is perfect - calm, warm & sunny (25c). Busy though and the site is full by 4pm every day.
