A boat passing on the Canal de Briare taken from our pitch on the municipal campsite at La Trezee. Less than a fiver a night or £7.50 with electric! This morning there are just 2 vans including us on a 90+ pitch site.

They have been forecasting rain and thunderstorms all week as we have progressed down the east side of France into the Camargue. Only had one brief flash and bang on Sunday

Château Gaillard built by Richard the Lionheart viewed from Flower Camping de L'ille des Trois Rois campsite. I am never failed to be impressed by these ruins whenever we stay at this lovely site. Drive up to the ruins, there is plenty of parking, pay the entrance fee and be amazed

by the magnificence of the structure, plus the stunning views of the Seine below.
