Mousy Dawn and I went to see Ed Sheeran last night at The Principality Stadium.
We should have been in Row 26, but the steward let us sit in row 14 - much closer to the action
Ed was brilliant- sang a lot of songs I knew, but bearing in mind he had two different support girl bands that were very Taylor Swiftesque, I was disappointed not to hear my favourite song …
But as usual, me and my Funster Bestie had a great time, which involved crimpers, pickled eggs, 2 different Asda’s…. And a 2 hour trip over -bloody traffic - but I was stuck behind a Steve Wright fan, which made me smile …..
And it was good to feel things were getting back to normal - a concert in a football stadium - Fantastic!

Oh, and just as a PS - I was gobsmacked to see people leaving in droves before the end!
Did they have a bus to catch? Did they all need a wee? Dawn seemed to think it was a ‘Welsh thing’….

These poppies were over six inches across and putting on a beautiful show. Hope I'm around when the seed heads form so that I can have a couple. Any tips on making the seeds 'take' would be appreciated. I don't always have luck with them.
I would take the seeds, and lay them on some kitchen paper on the top of the boiler for a few weeks, then put into an envelope until sowing next year !!!!

Looks a lovely festival Joy. It’s a shame that you still feel unsure about crowds. We were in amongst 50000 at The Ed Sheeran Concert, and I have to say it felt brilliant!Walked (!) to a sort of festival but didn't stay long. Becoming crowded. Very long queues for food.
