Caught the geese just before they landed. They make such a noise when they're flying, but go silent as soon as they land ! It's amazing watching their final approach as they whiffle down together, bit like a starling murmuration, but on steroids !

As a reminder to owners of Mercedes Benz based MH, you get a 3 year warranty on the new base vehicle, that includes MobiloVan (which is Mercedes European breakdown service) so no need for extra cover.

Servicing is every 2 years that then extends MobiloVan for another 2 years.

In our case this MH is built on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter Tractor Head. Once created into the MH, in this case by adding an AlKo chassis the date of 1st registration in the UK starts the warranty period. So in our case the Tractor Head was built in September 2022, 1st registered in the UK in Feb 2023 which gives us the full Warranty and MobiloVan service that we used to get this non start fault sorted. The roadside technician couldn't find it, so this morning it was recovered off our driveway and taken to the nearest dealer for resolution.

Interesting to watch people's reaction as it was rolled off the driveway with the recovery truck waiting up the road to lower its flatbed effectively more than doubling its length. A van driver jumped the kerb and pathway opposite to get around the recovery truck then got blocked by the grit bin. Another electric car driver jumped into the gap between the lowered flatbed and the MH, then hit the kerb and couldn't reverse. So the recovery time took considerably longer than it should have; as I remarked comments such as 'I'm not very clever, but I drive a van / an electric car' (y):ROFLMAO:

Very happy with the MobiloVan service. Await update on resolution. As we are not on a timetable not bovvered when it is returned.

The MH has a tracker fitted, that Global Telematics called and texted advising the MH had been moved without ignition. Can see in the App the MH was delivered to the dealer and has been moved around their site already.

Following on from our breakdown recovery n October, turbo charger codes, our MHOME arrives for repair.

Fingers crossed for a non costly repair. Well my legs are crossed as well. ££££????

Took the dogs down the river this morning, they're certainly getting on with the new bridge that has to cross the river, a cycle path and the railway and this big crane is helping out. If you zoom in to the left of where the jibs are fastened, there's a guy stood on there !
Pulled into this gateway on the way back to check out the geese too.

Where is this? Which river, please?

Where is this? Which river, please?
It's the River Caldew, just to the South West of Carlisle. You can see where the route of the new bypass goes on this Google Earth pic, the bridge construction is a lot further on than Google shows it and is located just to the left of where it says "River Caldew"
