A photo of the day thread

Another bird that is rampant in Dubai all year round is Parakeets, noisy buggers they are anorl. Your pic again reminded me.
Parents have them in Surrey, and when Mrs CAB took on her allotment I discovered we had them in South Manchester

It's the River Caldew, just to the South West of Carlisle. You can see where the route of the new bypass goes on this Google Earth pic, the bridge construction is a lot further on than Google shows it and is located just to the left of where it says "River Caldew"

Thanks.

We were both born in Cumberland (as was) and know the area well, hence the interest.

Is that your bridge in the background Mikey?
That’s the one mate, me and a few mates built it. Funny you should say that because as me and Nikki drove over it the other day on the way to Woolacombe I said the same. 😂👍.
To anyone else reading this, it was always a standing joke that I built that bridge because I worked on it when it was being built. 💪👍

Nice bit of tractor porn there. Every time I go into Louth I pass the agri dealers with their huge Case tractors. Superb bits of kit

We weren't lucky enough to own a Chopper in our single-parent family, but it didn't stop us wanting one.
