Veurne, Belgium
Nice stopover for Dunkirk (15 miles). There’s an old photo in the square showing the row of cottages after a direct hit in WW2. The middle 2 cottages were destroyed but the church survived intact.

If you don't like spiders don't watch this! It's a short video of, according to experts I consulted a Cave Spider. There are two possible species but they are hard to tell apart without a good magnifying glass.

It's big, over 50mm (2") across the legs. Harmless to humans but it does a good job of looking like something nasty. :)

I've hidden the video link for the aracnophobes. Click on the top left of the blurred image if you want to look!

Big spider!

Found under the planks over our cess pit today. If I'm checking under the toilet seats in the house for the next few days I'm sure you will understand why.

Shame you did not put your hand fully in so we could see the size properly

Took the VW Caddy for a service in Wrexham.
Decided to have a drive around North Wales when it was done.
Got my Oggi for my tea from...............where.
And cause i was in no rush, 40/50/60 mph the Caddy was sipping diesel.
