Back home now and our budding future Modern Pentathlete competed in the North Cornwall Pony Club Triathlon yesterday - running, swimming and shooting - and placed 1st. Today he added the Tetrathlon cross country riding element, and with a clear round took 1st in that as well.

Thanks. She’s all he could wish for, very feisty but steady as a rock so he’s got nothing to worry about in that department. He needs to work on his shooting a bit though as he has a tendency to pull the trigger finger instead of squeezing, but he’s getting there.

We went last May on the way to Croatia and thought it was a nice stop over.
Stayed on a site next to the river that wasn’t to bad and an easy walk into the town.
