A photo of the day thread

Still confused with the different sites.
If those vans are parked up to stay then no thanks, wouldn't want to upset the neighbours with HRHs snoring.
A bit of communal snoring is all part of the fun. I’ve got an App that registers my snoring as ‘epic’! No complaints from fellow campers yet - lots of bruises from my wife kicking me though ☹️

Arrived too late yesterday to get on any of the Stellplatz so had to use a local site…. €51 plus metered electric, ouch! The kids, partying groups, barking dogs and general bedlam were free tho’! 🥴. Many German sites seem to be like that so the Stellplatz is a haven of relative peace and moderate pricing.
We were on a site in Luxembourg for 2 nights, turns up and opposite was a kid screaming then off the went to play golf over the back, could still hear him screaming 🤬
The parents just let him get on with it!! They then started playing games with the 2 kids and he was screaming as he didn’t win😳😳
Next day we go off to the city come back and a van had parked near me despite the pitches being about 10m wide, that had 2 young girls in it running around screeching.
Luckily it calmed down at night, no dogs barking though😁😁

Doesn’t apply to these free loaders of course….

Couple ....................well few beers at the local, 3 and half mins walk from house tonight.
Heard it had changed from a Marston place to a Robinsons place.
Maybe they may put some beers on i can drink other than all this puffy fancy name stuff.
Anyway.
New menu. Had to look twice and take a pic. Took a while to understand what i was reading. HELP.

Complete bo@@ocks, have they sectioned off a bit of the car park for doggy prams?
That’s one pub I’d avoid like the plague!

I think you can also still stay overnight in nearby Gorran Haven. Large car park on the
left as you enter the village. Probably no water and quite a slope. If you’re feeling adventurous you can visit Caerhays Beach, which is lovely with reasonable parking and a castle. However, access via narrow country lanes. My favourite is Hemmick Beach, also accessible by narrow lanes but there is a NT car park before you descend to the beach, big enough to park a camper if it’s not busy. No overnight parking.
