A photo of the day thread

Must be something in the air, as first it’s the little mouse in the shed, then the wiring chewed through in the van and this morning I catch something in the corner of my eye and then heard the scratching.

Took a bit of preparation but caught it pretty quickly I’m glad to say. Must have only just got in, as there was next to no trace of mess or chewing.

Oh and where’s the cat when you need him!!

South-Western Air Ambulance on the Abbey Grounds in Ciren this afternoon - heart-attack apparently……patient eventually transported by road to Swindon after being stabilised by paramedics. (y)

I did put these up on my Iceland thread. I know a lot are not looking so thought you may like to see a proper waterfall, but not as good as Igizua, Victoria or Niagara.
These are Gulfoss Falls south of Reyjavik Iceland.

Been on this site for the last few days.
Just outside Brissac Quince .
This site is part of a non profit charity network of sites set up to provide jobs for people with disabilities.
Biggest pitch I've ever had.

Also has a fishing lake stocked with Carp, anything caught is returned to the lake.

Are Carp eatable?
They are around my way!
Few years back went up to the tackle shop to get some bailout to fish Chichester canal as years ago there was some good fishing, bloke in the shop said don’t bother the (many)Eastern Europe that live around there have had them all☹️☹️☹️
There is also a big private Carp Lake around there that have had some big fish go missing ☹️☹️
 
Making my way north for the tunnel on Sunday and my return to Aberfreeze.
Pitched up at this lovely site beside Le Bec-Hellouin.
Big pitch with water and electric for under £19 per night using Acsi

The site produces its own cider, 3.5 euros for a 75cl bottle.
