Me and my ukey girls went to Gloucester Cathedral to see this today:

A very thought provoking piece of artwork. When you get up close it’s incredible to see the type of knives displayed - and the amount of meat cleavers!

An amazing piece of work, but I couldn’t help but think what the knives had been used for before the amnesty took place.

It goes out on tour to highlight the issues of knives. It was at the ironworks centre I went to near Oswestry at one stage and I think it will be back there at some stage. If you google it it gives all the places it’s visiting.

A short car ride to the East Allen Valley, SW Northumberland for a spot of birding in the Spartylea/Allenheads area then across the highest road in Northumberland to Carrshield. A remote and wildly beautiful area.

Where are the Astras and Fiestas when you want one. Must be 40-50 flash car shops on the SZR alone. Wonder how many are knocked off.

Can't find recent thread to post this, so I'm cheating, my way of getting up to MHome to clean it. Side in photo is easier than other side. Cleaned it yesterday. Difficult to get rid of some of the stains on sealant and roof itself, but can't always reach some parts safely.

Some have heard of Palm Island in Dubai.
This is part of that Island.
Palm West Beach.
A 3 k section on the beach with really good restaurants and bars. Located at the entrance to the Marina so sit having sundowners watching the fancy posh boats going in and out.
AND the first bars i have seen with Corona on draft.
Lots for the kids to enjoy also.
Again not good with the camera.

Should have added that foot of ladder was against house wall hence the flatter height. The other side of MHome is more upright.

Almost every time i come here now i get lost as they have put yet another new road in. I tell you they build a massive flyover in 3 weeks here (here we go again, with slave labour) that takes 3 years in UK.
The last pic is a section of Dubai Hills Mall, it's about 1 k long. Impossible to walk around in a full day.............yeh your idea of a nightmare, same here but went today to have a look at the architecture.
