We're at camping Cite de Carcassonne, lovely site within walking distance of the CiteWhat a day.
Decided to give Annecy a miss as we have to be in Calpe for Tues lunch time, then El Campello on Wed morn.
So a long day driving from Colmar to just outside Carcassone, 524 miles, 840 Ks. Easy peasy. Ran out of Add Blue 2 hours from destination what a performance.
AND our first French Passion stop, Mireepeisset, Domaine de L'Herbe Sainte. A winery i think they call them.
It's ok. Wedding on tonight so no restaurant for us peasants. 7pm and we are the only travellers.
Have a look see at Carcasonne tomorrow for a few hours , have a look at that big old slum.
War wound on the MH, the scooter handlebar wanted to come inside.

That boats a sad site, I spent a couple of years working in a boat yard in the 70's you kind of fall in love with them sometimes, even though they can be cramped and awkward to work on.Walked around the estuary at Orford, Suffolk. Stayed at Raydon Hall CL in the village.

I do find that I spend a lot of time on my iPad researching places to go, on our last trip we still went to a few places that were not very good and wished we hadn’t.Bloody hell. Thats the problem with us newbies, ain't a clue where to go.

Yes, it sad when a boat dies but then it becomes home for so many other creatures. That boats a sad site, I spent a couple of years working in a boat yard in the 70's you kind of fall in love with them sometimes, even though they can be cramped and awkward to work on.

Next time your near one, look at the life, not the demise!
Hi Otter Spotter - The farm is marked on the OS map, so easy enough to find. It's about 10 minutes walk out of the village. Roads to it are narrow without many passing places. The entrance is sharp on the right, opposite the farm itself. Nice and relaxed site. Never saw the owners - posted our payment in their letter box as requested before leaving.Coming to Raymon Hall site tomorrow, is it is to find and will you still be there?
Otter Spotter - PS - I forgot to mention, if you are still in Southwold, check out the Under The Pier show - a brilliant collection of weird and wacky slot machines / amusements.
