Coming to the end of our six week trip to Spain and France. Been a great experience, especially after the COVID period. Covered 3000 miles and not home yet. Currently on the site at Chateau du Gandspette near Calais. Never seen it so quiet.

Incidentally this is our third trip to mainland Europe since November 2021. We bought this m/h new on 6th August 2021 and have now covered 12,000+ miles already.👍🇫🇷🍷

A family weekend with the children, who have all got the Van bug👍
We are in our T6, whilst our much awaited new Consort van arrives in a couple of months time, and how we miss having the truma and all the hot water it brings😉

And the latest member of the family also attended, who stole the show

Another disused railway line day from the free Aire at Saint caprice de lalinde into bergerac about 19 Kms each way more undulating than flat but 13 of those Kms right next to la Dordogne but very limited dipping this far up river.
Today's beer of choice was the 8% la bete and well worthy even at 4 euros

Went for a nice walk around the lake at the aire at Meuzac.

Part the way around the lake we came across this bike propped up against a tree and a pile of cloths down by the lake edge, but knowbody in sight in the lake.
We thought we had come across the French version of Reggie Perrin, but further around the lake we spied a swimmer in the distance.

Another disused railway line located that passes over the Dordogne to Sarlat.
Today we only did 3 Kms of it and met a school in the old railway station doing a cycle (about 50 of them) before heading to la rocque gigeac and dromme.
Tomorrow should be from grolejac (great free Aire) towards Souillac on the old railway line
