A photo of the day thread

We drove along New Zealand’s newest motorway, Transmission Gully, just north of Wellington. It only opened about a week ago and already two police cars have been involved in “incidents”. One drove onto the gravel escape lane and got stuck, another somehow managed to reverse into the cheese-cutter safety barrier and become balanced on top of it!

Checked out an Aire in Roquetas de Mar @ €12 pn but didn’t care for it so now at Camping La Garrofa, Almeria for €20 pn. Beautiful location by the sea but owing to approach road and tight turns on site limited to sub 8m motorhome

For the cider lovers out there.

Tuckers Grave. The pub with the oldest pub sign writing in the U.K. WW1 pub. Some attached info from their website. Some EHU pitches but we’re only here a night or maybe two. Long drive for us… 10 mins from home :giggle: £8 per adult per night and I believe £4 a night extra for EHU. Live music most weekends and allowed fire pits (bring own wood)
