The first 2 were taken on my way out and the third on my way back about 40 minutes later .....at which point i couldn't resist shouting " caught anything ". He didnt even flinch

It’s like turning up on a site, except no travelling, no fuel and in a true FLT, getting paid £15 a day for the task.

We had a short wander around Hereford this morning. It was supposed to be a longer walk but the riverside path we chose was closed on the edge of the town.

Outside Hereford Cathedral is the Knife Angel. Made from 100,000 confiscated knives it is an impressive sculpture. If you just look at its body you might question the 100,000 figure but look again at the wings. They are made of blades only - and a lot of them.

The Black and White House appears on tourist maps so we had to have a peek.

The view from this angle was spoiled by a cow in the way. I've no idea why it's here. Hereford has nothing to do with cattle.

We keep a bowl of water topped up on our front wall for birds to drink from.
We have just had a down pour, and one of our regular Pied Wagtails decided it was shower and spruce up time.

Yesterday on a small site in Cheshire. Testing out my homemade sun blocker. Amazing what you can do with a length of Kadar (?) a single bedsheet (£9) and a couple of pieces of knicker elastic. .

Have had a new pond installed this week and today added 2 new pond lights...testing them out tonight this is what I saw..zoom in and look lower right ...had my hand in ithe pond moments before moving the light
