A photo of the day thread

Cycled from the site at Fishcross along the 767 & 76
cycle route along to the Wallace Monument and had lunch at the lovely cafe there. Then back to the site via the 76 & 768. The cycle network is really good around here. Stunning views of the Ochill Hills

Out for a cycle along Devon Way to Dollar, when someone thought it would be a good idea to take the bikes up to Castle Campbell 🤔. Basically, walked up with the bikes and practically carried them back down 😂

The whole common is covered with these very small yellow flowers like miniature Marsh Marigolds.

At home we have a Black Acer that has just burst into flower.

Virtual prize for the first to guess in which Scottish town this un-loved building is situated.
PS. nobody from Dumfries is allowed to enter.

How can that beautiful and historic building be allowed to get into such a state of disrepair? I thought there were protection orders on such places?
What did it used to be?

Nice photo.
Have you changed your screen, thought you had bought black ones.
Yes the black one faded really quick due to a bad batch of material so got it replaced with a silver one no bother. (y)
