Nothing 'marvellous' but oh how I wish I were young again and appreciated everything as much as I do post covid. Daisies, in any shape or form, were just for making chains.... ..now I think they are beautiful reminders of how wonderful this world could be.

Margaret is spitting feathers as there is an organised Beach Swim and she has left her cossie and wetsuit at home

I told her to not to be a wuss and get in in her knicks and liberty bodice but strangely, she seems to be ignoring me!

Just had a couple of nights at a THS at Bankhead Farm, Crail. Lovely views over the Firth of Forth.
£10 per night. Water grey, elsan & bins.

We were entertained with beautiful songs by this little bird (sorry, poor image, couldn't get any closer.)

Lunch stop is at a picnic area at Newburgh on the side of the Tay between Dundee and Perth. Heartily recommend the pie and cake shop near the traffic lights in Newburgh imaginatively named "The Wee Bakery"

Navesti River on my way south to go Bog walking here in Estonia,

Soomaa National Park, Kuresoo Bog about 25,000 Acres from a small lookout tower.

Bog lakes.

20210614_142243.jpg

A Bit more of a Bog lake.

A spot I found later, 2.1Km down a deserted track and this was the end, River, Fire Pit and BBQ, Covered Seating, Observation Tower, and the promise of Beaver, Mink and Otter among other things. I think I may return for a spot of wild camping one day. Not a human for Km after Km, just my cup of tea

As we rush towards the 21 June it is evident the days are getting longer. Taken around 9.30 last night (Dumfries).

I know it isn't going to happen but when I'm in my 90's I want to look like this.. :(
That likes like a photo of the couple that the MHF Spooks were investigating last year when they were recorded on numerous occasions leaving home with empty rucksacks and returning with full (or Visa Versa):giggle:;)

You weren't one of their agents and have decided you will act as a whistleblower are you??

You don't know it's not going to happen. It may all start to change tomorrow.

They're doing a "virtual" Royal Highland Show this year, I think it just means no spectators but all the usual show events (cattle, sheep etc) are going ahead ?
Joe was organising the pole climbing in the Forestry Arena again but only managed second place today. The weather is good and he's got himself some beer tokens, so he'll be a happy chappy !

Early morning flight at Bristol balloon Fiesta

My mum used to live in Totterdown. Watching the balloons rising over Bristol was a memory I will never forget. Being close is great but watching them rise above the roofs was awesome.
