A photo of the day thread

Lancashire wakes up after winter.

Fire pit at Quackers cl with WynandJean which is a bit up from Bath and a bit over from Bristol and very close to a rather large number of cycle paths and walking distance to decent boozer.
Might have partaken in gin testing and the view from the van and from estuary yesterday.
All uploaded from the free WiFi from the cl after another couple of boiled duck eggs from quackers.

Today's offering from Woodside field cl just outside of Bristol and owned by Quackers is the view of the huge field and a trespasser eating the grass.

Superbly tranquil here and absolute dead certs to return.

I ought to add that there is a drone video on the site's link here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/showcase/woodside-field.296/ which shows the site off as well so worthy of a gander

you definitely didn't see st Marys island when you were here (y)
I see Brian has already told you... but I do find it hard to believe you haven't visited st Marys if you have been over to Whitley Bay:unsure:
Don't remember that we ever stopped though - just a flyby on the way further north (all pre caravan & maybe even kiddie days so you can tell how long ago!)

Melrose RFC (with footie match in progress), Melrose Abbey, William Wallace and the Eildon Hills from the Wallace Statue viewing point. Managed to get a couple of nights Sat / Sun. Occasional spotty rain and very brief showers otherwise fine

On borrowed time of internet after trouble with it...

Not good photo, but it is of a little snail found on the path at Corfe Castle by my little grandaughter who SAVED it by putting it back on the fence.

Poor little bugger had taken all morning just walking halfway across path, and she put it back to the start.
