A photo of the day thread

Dropping grumpchild no 4 off and a quick slight detour to get some fresh local milk and proper butter from a vending machine.

I just liked this access bridge. It only goes from the farm on the south side to their fields on the north side.

Where are these photos taken, please?

They're on an old golf course on the North side of the Aire valley between Riddlesden and Silsden.
I have just read about that area on Wikipedia and it sounds lovely. I toured around Bradford, Skipton, Keighley, etc a few years ago so I may have done the Aire Valley. I love the stone walls and buildings.

You will definitely have been up Airedale. Keighley and Skipton are both in Airedale.
Airedale starts at the foot of Malham cove. This is the source of the river Aire it joins the Wharfe at Leeds eventually flowing into the Humber and North Sea.

My boys, happy in their mobile kennel on a trip to Lake Vassivierre, France, where we were visited by a group of Harley riders and the view through our windscreen each morning.
This recently?? No lockdown in Froggyland?.

Can’t believe how quickly this has become so green.

All the places you picture i can relate to as we had a plot in Altea-La-Vella for many years so was up and around the area, Calpe, Jeavea, Moriara, Jalon all the time.
never did get around to building and sold at the same time we sold the villa in Busot.

We love this part of Spain, we first came to Javea in 98 at that time renting villas, then in 2007 we got a motorhome and that winter when we got to Javea stayed a month, then carried on round the coast, the following years the stays got longer, the more people we got to know the longer we stopped until it was 5 months on the site 😁 we sold up in 2013 and after 2 years wandering decided to buy here. 😎

It had to look after itself and be an attractive holiday rental, after looking at villas we decided on a apartment very close to everything, and it has everything we wanted, my brother and his family have stayed a few times and he said it's the first holiday they have had, where he can have a drink in the past he rented villas here they come end of August/ September so also had the problem of trying to park . 😎
For us its perfect when it hot we like snorkelling, other times walking and cycling we are spoilt for choice and of course the micro climate makes it so much better. 👍😁 Bob.
