As you can see, social distancing is being observed here, the V-dub is our nearest neighbour

The missus surprised me today with a trip over to La Graciosa which is a small island off the north coast of our island. No proper roads and probably only about a hundred cars. Half them were Land Rover Defenders used as taxis and tour buses.

Food looks good but why do restaurants insist on serving salad with eg pie and chips.

It doesn’t go!

Today we went out on the bikes, covered alot of new tracks and small lanes, ups and downs and something that could only be described as dry river beds felt chuffed with ourselves, 😉 when we finally got home had a swim in the pool, and so pleased Janie had put a tuna curry in the slow cooker. 😁 Bob.

Very blowy here today but we still have a few leaves left on the birch tree in our front garden. Apologies for the quality of the photo. It was taken through the window using a phone camera.

Best wishes to all.

Think the sun shining on leaves, whatever the season, is so lovely to see.

So today was a ride around some of the miradores around Javea, a bit misty but better for cycling being a demanding ride with plenty of ups and downs, going as far as cala la granadella bay and ending with a swim. 😁

Lovely November day here. Been busy in the orchard this morning pruning back the apple trees...

We keep a couple of sackfuls of the trimmings and let them air dry for next year and put them on the Kadai firepit when we are cooking pork...

Been a bumper crop this year. Got 3 banana boxes full of Worcesters, Cox's Orange Pippins and James Grieve packed away.

These are the last of the James Grieve that were still on the trees as I trimmed them...

We must have put about 10 barrowloads of windblowns on the compost heap! :lipssealed:

Was warm enough at lunchtime to get the firepit out and have a fried breakfast...
