Plenty of places to walk or cycle.
Not blessed with the recent nice weather. The walk along the seawall was "bracing"!!

Shades of grey on the beach. The foam is red tinged as the bedrock on the beach is deep red sandstone.

Can't remember the technical term for this type of footbridge, but thought it had quite nice lines to it.

The area is well worth a visit. Lots to see without spending a lot.

Am stopping at the "posh" hotel in Grasmere for Mary's birthday.
I heard the kitchen delivery van arrive so had a look out.
I know the hotel has facilities for some dogs but this is a bit over the top!

This was on Monday ,on the Isle of Wight ...could have been Greece
It looks lovely but Greece? I can only see one rib on the water without any people in it? Now if there were 20-30 people in it I would have said you were in Greece
Still lovely though.

Going next week, any tips... must do/avoid?
Well..........if continuous heavy rain is forecast, don’t pitch on the C&MC site unless you like swimming........it is on the Avon/Severn flood plain and gets, how shall we say, waterlogged (notice that the facilities block is on stilts)! Seriously though, Tewkesbury is not a ‘pretty’ place and is now a little run down (I was there to have some work done on my ‘van), but there are some great walks by the rivers, and the surrounding Cotswolds are beautiful especially as the trees’ leaves are changing colour. It is certainly more hilly than South Lincs. (I was born in Louth so know Lincolnshire well), and Gloucester/Cheltenham are worth a visit and are not too far away from Tewkesbury. (y)
