Who opened the locks, from what I have seen, presume your better half?. Smudger55Love the whole narrow boat scene. 4 mph. Very relaxing. We have rented over the years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Never considered buying as i had a bobbins crew
Oh cyclists, loads of them and they never slow down for the walkers, we spend half the walk in the hedge.. Smudger55Great location and good for cycling. However they are usually late in cutting back the tow path hedgerows so when cycling in say December most people have punctures - hedgerow is hawthorn!
Yes you are correct we spoke to a few of them mind you they had their work cut out following a breakdown of one the locks. Smudger55I believe “they” are volunteers helping to keep things going.
Their cycling faq suggests being able to do puncture repairs
Is it walkable from site, we are going there tomorrow? Smudger55A little place just outside broadway C&MH cs in The Cotswolds
`Kev
Yes that indicates the issue. Also if you head right From the campsite along to tow path away from the Locks it’s potentially a long walk to the locks to get the puncture repaired.I believe “they” are volunteers helping to keep things going.
