Judging by the leaves on the tree behind the crane there was quite a wind blowing at the time. I wouldn’t go anywhere near it.

He did call the crane company yesterday as he saw it was going to be gusty, but they were ok with it. He had his mate Alfie helping him today, a nice lad, he's a young Kiwi who's been over here a couple of years.

Cliffdale, as soon as I saw that pile of rocks I was transported back in time. My father was a builder’s merchant (among other things) in the early 70s and would drive a truck to somewhere near Tintagel to get supplies of Cornish slate and sell it from his “yard” in the Midlands. In those days there was a fashion for fireplaces to be built from it. I agree with you, as rocks go, it’s beautiful.
