Three pictures of Burgos Cathedral taken on our trip to Santiago de Compostella following the pilgrim route from our home in France.

No, we didn’t walk it, we used the motorhome!

We visited many Cathedrals, small chapels and other religious centres en route, but Burgos Cathedral was our favourite.

Tiggy came back from Spitfire garage today after being locked down since day one. Delivered by the garage owner and spotlessly clean having been standing in his yard for yonks!
Full service, all filters, fluids, injector cleaner, new brake discs/drums/shoes/pads and a good look round.
With VAT £800: pretty reasonable really. It certainly doesn't look 22 years old and we can't wait to get on the road!

Thanks for the great memories, we visited Burgos Cathedral 22 years ago.

Nothing as good as previous photos, but we walk under this oak every day - isn't it a beauty?

Then we walk through the churchyard on our way home. Flowers for Mary Flower....

Hasn't the weather been painfully glorious since lockdown began... :crying:

Do you know what those pink flowers are as I’ve got some outside the front door of an apartment I’ve just bought, I like them but no idea what they are

I can only just about recognise daffodils and buttercups, but I bet a certain DBK will be along to enlighten us! (y)

It's Red Valerian I think. If it stinks like something you would round on a pavement and avoid stepping on then definitely Valerian. Known as the "Check your shoe plant" in our family. It stinks. 😀

Is that plant how valerian drug is made, to calm animals down?

See Winger I knew DBK wouldn’t let us down - although now knowing what it’s ‘characteristics’ are, not sure you want it outside your front door!
