We visited many Cathedrals, small chapels and other religious centres en route, but Burgos Cathedral was our favourite.
Yep has it’s own micro climate, opencast long since gone and area restored to its former beauty.I called at the opencast at Plenmeller a couple of times to carry out some repairs, first time I'd experienced 100mph, horizontal, freezing rain !

It's Red Valerian I think. If it stinks like something you would round on a pavement and avoid stepping on then definitely Valerian. Known as the "Check your shoe plant" in our family.
